"So, what's your life like?" Kyoya asked me. "I mean, you don't even talk about it much."
"There's a reason for that." I said. "But I'm not going to dwell on my life. I got enough worries of my own."
"At least tell me a little about it."
"No." I said flatly. "I came to Ouran to get away from my past. Not to go back!"
"What in your life is so horrible that you don't even want to tell me about?" Kyoya asked, his voice getting somewhat louder.
I sighed. "This is the reason that I can't allow myself to..."
"To what?" He asked, his voice going back to normal.
"To love others!" I burst out. "I can't bring myself to love you! I can't even act girly, which was the reason why I got stuck in this hell of a school!"
"What about Sakuya? She's pretty girly..."
"That's a lie. She's like Amber, hyperactive, yet coldhearted at times. She has been this way forever."
"You're plenty girly." He reassured me. "I mean, sure you have your boyish qualities at times, but you're girly."
I toyed with my hair- which I dyed back red, and made it shorter. "Oh yea? If I'm so girly, how come I'm here? My mother and father thinks that since I grew up with 3 brothers, I've became a tomboy."
"A tomboy isn't bad. Haruhi's a tomboy; reason why she rather wear shorts and a hoodie than a skirt and a tanktop."
"Well, that's Haruhi. Not me."
"Oh, Amaya-chan!" My brothers yelled. "C'mon! We gotta talk to you about something."
They always used that excuse to get me out of tough spots. Oh, I forgot to mention something. I'm the second kid out of quads. Aaron is the eldest, born fifteen minutes before the rest of us. I was born two minutes after him, then came Alexander, who was born ten minutes after me, and finally the 'baby' who was born twenty minutes after Alex- Andy. The four of us get along quite well, only fighting for fun.
"Gotta go, Kyo-chan." I said, hopping, stepping, and jumping over the stairs.
When the four were out of earshot....
"Hi guys." I greeted them. "How's it going?"
"How are you at Ouran?" Andy asked quietly, pushing up his glasses. "I mean, you're not trying to give the teacher a heart attack, right?"
"Oh no. All I've been doing is throwing a baseball ba--"
"So that's where my baseball bat is!" Aaron exclaimed, shooting a look at me. "I want it back."
"No way, Jose."
"But my name isn't Jose, it's Aaron!"
"You're a complete idiot, you know that?" I said to him. "Worse than Tamaki Suoh."
He was shocked. "That is so....so.....mean!"
"Mean my arse. So, what's up?"
"You're coming to school with us." Andy said. "It's the first of June. When September comes, you'll be transferred."
"I'm not going to that effing school! I rather jump off a cliff in Death Valley then to go there!"
Andy sighed. "We told Dad that, but do you seriously think that he'll listen?"
I shook Andy. "....I'm going to kill him....and you....."
"What? Why!? I mean, Why me?"
