"Behind the scenes"

POV Yeji

Ryujin and I haven't shared a word since we left the dorms this morning, we only said "good morning" to each other. Last night was the same, I wasn't able to sleep, the image of Ryujin's half naked body over mine is driving me crazy, how she bites my neck and almost fuck me. If I wasn't shy to tell her, she was going to be my first time or that I'm in love with her. By now we could be together, but my ego is like hers, we are too stubborn to admit our mistakes. 

-"Yeji, are you listening?" -my manager made me return to the present. My members were laughing at me including Ryujin, she probably knows why I spaced out.

-"I'm sorry"

-"Did you sleep at all?" -I gazed at Ryujin who smirked without looking- "Anyways... like I was saying" -he carried on- "Today, we have a radio show and the MV recording. Please behave and enjoy it, ok?"

-"Yes!" -Yuna said full of energy.

We got out of the black van and a couple of paparazzi were taking our picture. We kept walking and waved to the fans, glanced at the crowd and I saw an Ryeji poster, making me smile discreetly.

Once inside the manager handed a sheet of paper with all the possible questions the interviewer would ask, we read a couple and left the paper to the side. Took a sip of coffee and prepared myself. I'm really fucking tired and I know for a fact the black bags under my eyes could be visible if it wasn't for the make up.

We finished getting ready and a staff member walked us to the room where the interview was going to be held. The seats were distributed the next way; me, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Yuna and Lia. I put on the headset to listen to what the others were saying. The interview started at a low pace but after a couple of minutes it got more interesting, especially because of the fan questions. 

-"Now we are going to answer a couple of fan questions!!" -the interviewer said- "Are you ready?"

-"Yes" -we answered.

-"Let's start with Yuna. The fans want to know, how does it feel to graduate from high-school?"

-"It's amazing. Sometimes I miss it, but other times I'm glad that now I can spend all my energy in itzy and midzy"

-"I felt relief when I graduated" -the lady said and we laughed together- "Good... next question is for Chaeryeong, midzy wants to know more about your dance abilities. Do you practice in your free time? Do you dance to relieve stress?"

-"Yes! Dancing is really good to relieve stress, most of the time Yeji and Ryujin join when I'm at the practice room, we dance all kinds of songs" -she smiled like a kid.

-"We have lots of questions but your manager told me that there is only time for one more question, sooo... I'm going to ask Yeji"

I smiled at her, wishing the question wasn't too revealing or something like that.

-"How do you feel about the ships in itzy? According to my notes lots of fans love... Ryeji" -she sounds unsure. Kind of like she regrets asking it- "This ship is between?"

-"Between Ryujin and Yeji" -Lia answered.

-"Right, sorry" -she smiled- "How do you feel about it?"

-"Well..." -I looked at Ryujin remembering last night- "We are aware that ships exist in every group, just like in blackpink, bts, gidle. I think it's ok... if the fandom respects our privacy"

-"That's a really good answer! If respect exists everything is on good terms, right?" -we all nodded. The interview was ending- "Thank you much to Itzy for joining me today, I hope you have a great day and we are really excited for your future projects"
