WHAT IF ?

What if there is a life after death? Personally, I believe there is, and I don't think everything just ends when you die, and you just get jolted to heaven or you get thrown into hell. That just seems very fictional to me. I think our soul is just getting started or maybe its just accustomed to leveling up and evolving into something greater than we can ever imagine. You might be thinking I'm crazy for saying this. But what if your conditioned to think this way every time someone questions the reality were living in. You're so busy trying to get ahead in life, make money, develop a career, start a family and survive that you forget that you have to die at some point. You work hard all your life and then you just leave it all behind when you die, or does your soul carry what you learnt with you? What's the purpose? Evolution!?

As a writer I have so many questions and I can't get a straight answer from anyone. I need clarity and I don't think I will ever get it but yet I continue to search in the spiritual books, listen to philosopher's and novels like an idiot. I'm thirsty for the truth yet there seems to be so many different assumptions about it that eventually you'll pick one and stick to it, no questions asked. It's all confusing, why can't we get a straight answer.

One by one the people we adore are going to leave us or we're going to leave them, there's no ifs about that. Society said, "Prepare yourself for that day," but can we really be prepared for something we have no idea about. I'm not satisfied with their assumptions nor mines. It doesn't make sense to me. They say have faith but why do we need it, I see no use for faith we all know death is inevitable. I'd like to think, death is beyond religious beliefs, there is no manuals, no cheat codes. It's just you and the unknown. That thought excites me for some reason.

I'd like to think it's a level up to a next game but this time there is no suffering, no pain, no anger, just an abundance of peace. Evil and its misfits doesn't reside in that realm. I refuse to believe that hell exist there for all darkness should cease when you die. One can only dream of peace after death but what if you manifest it. What if, you are in control of what happens to you when you die. What if you get to choose where you want to go and what you'd like to happen to you? What if you're no longer a player but a creator?

Multiple philosophers believe we shouldn't fear death but most importantly my mind and soul told me that before anyone did. So, I choose not to fear it and take control of my thoughts surrounding death. A positive outlook on death is what we all need. However, from what I learnt about this life it's just not going to be that easy because of attachment. I can sit here and daydream about what happens after death all I want. It will never change the fact that it is very much unknown and will remain that way until it actually happens to us.

Last night my mind told me stop writing so I listened and went to bed. I felt nervous and I have been feeling like this since I began drafting this story. I fell asleep almost immediately and went into a dream state. I dreamt a loved one who passed away very recently, and I saw him in different states, weak then strong then powerful. He had one message for me and that was an I quote verbatim, "There is a higher entity ". He said that with a glowing smile on his face and he looked powerful. I saw other graphic details in the dream surrounding his life that shocked me but what shocked me the most was how peaceful and calm I was during that presentation.

I woke up feeling peaceful and grateful but immediately after my thoughts went crazy. I have many more questions now and I will have questions until I take my last breath. When you think you gain power and control over something, please think again. You'll never know what's going to happen. What if we truly have no control? One can only assume so I understand the fascination in having faith. You are simply using faith to have peace of mind. I get it.

But remember, death is inevitable, we all have the ability to die and you'll never no what happens until it happens. There is no right answer to the questions.
