everyone has heard of the domino effect. the idea that events crash into another, one thing setting another into motion. whether its actions or events, it can be summed up in one simple phrase. when one door closes, another door opens. lives are no different than doors in this sense. as one person burns, another will no doubt rise from the ash. on that note, lets begin. welcome to New World Gods! the world of the Gavan, a parasitic race that can change humans into god like creatures. those chosen are given select immortality and ability beyond imagination. all over the world, people are selected to become gods and thrown into a world in civil war. plagued with prophecy's of Armageddon and war with the humans, life in NWG is stressed and painful. the story follows The Heavens Safe House, a group of Gavan who have chosen to leave their old lives, or have been ripped from them. it is a story about magic and the supernatural but its more about acceptance and fighting, coping with loss, pain, determination, and discrimination, about philosophy and world ideas, why we're here and our purpose in life.
