This is a book to simply recommend, and give my feedback on Tom Riddle FanFiction.
I often get messages asking me for recommendations, or I'm followed for my reading lists, so I thought I should take it a step further and to just create a book dedi...
Things I Liked: I loved the characters in this book, it was hard not to fall in love with the main character "Saffron." I loved how it also depicted her other relationships, while simultaneously not taking the shine away from Tom. It was a good balance. I loved the relationship between Tom and Saffron, it was a dynamic i haven't really seen before which was refreshing.
What Could Be Improved: Despite enjoying the ending, i felt it was a bit rushed. Once it got to the chapters in the late 40 range, it lost detail in the plot. But i could overlook this as you can see a big change in the authors writing, it was written over the span of 3 years so you really see lots of improvement.
Tom Riddle's Character: Never seen this before, it's more of a soft tom riddle fic, but it still had that element of the more evil side of him, they balanced each other out perfectly. I loved seeing the humorous side of his character that you don't always see.
Warnings?: Not specifically, although there is death of loved ones. It also talks about family traumas, especially abandonment.
My Experiences: It has been a LONG LONG LONG time since i've read a tom riddle fan fic and i've missed it, im happy this was the fan fic i read to get me back into it. i got hooked after the first few chapters, it made me feel quite nostalgic so maybe i loved it even more for that reason.
Do I Recommend?: Yes, i really do. i wouldn't say make it FIRST on your list but it is something you really need to check out. the author deserves even more recognition than what they have now.
