Chapter 1 The past

You, Kirishima Y/n, the youngest of the entire family, twins with Ikuya but he was born 3 minutes earlier.

"Nii-san, do you guys have club today?" You asked your brother, Natsuya. "Yeah why? Do you want to join? I'm quite sure Nao might need some help." Your brother replied. Nao was Natsuya's,Ikuya's and your childhood friend. He was the quietest out of all. "Sure!" Ikuya who was standing on the left of his sister smirked and said, "excited to see Nao ehh~" Y/n looks at him and blushes, "ur-urusai!" Ikuya chuckles and they walked to the swim club, now lets just say that someone from your class likes him too alright? And because you two are close as heck she's damn jealous.

"Hey Nao!" Natsuya waved to the purplish and blueish hair man. "Oh hey, seems like you brought y/n too huh?" Natsuya nodded, "yeah, anyways would it be fine if she can assist you with anything?" Nao looked at the other boys and said, "Y/n could you help me coach?" You nodded, you could swim very well, but sadly, you have asthma. So you always needed to bring an inhaler with you. "Okay, everyone gather!" Natsuya yelled, the four boys gathered and Natsuya said, "This is Kirishima Y/n, she will be the vice-coach." Everyone nodded, "Hurt her and I will not hesitate to kill you." Ikuya said. "Tsk. So unfair! Why can't I do it?! I mean i'm better!" A pinkish haired girl said, everyone froze no one knew what to say,

"Just shut up, no one needs your unessesary comments. And anyways to put it in frank, you are terrible at coaching. If you can't even teach someone something as simple as Algebra and you can't swim, then how will you be able to coach?" You said and raised your eyebrows, "You can swim too! So why not you swim instead of coaching!" She yelled back, "Because I can't! You think I don't want to?!" You yelled at her, "THEN PROOF THAT YOU CAN SWIM YOU LITTLE PIECE OF-" "ENOUGH." Everyone turned to look at Ikuya, "Call my sister a little piece of shit, I dare you! I will not hesitate to kill you!" "Okay everyone just shut up and practice." Natsuya said in a stern voice, all of them went back to their corner, no one dared to ask questions.

Halfway through practice while it was break time the same girl approached her again, "Well,well,well, what happens if I push you into the water? Would you drown?!" No one was looking so you just ignored her, "Oi i'm talking to you!" You rolled your eyes and said, "Okay Akira what the hell do you want?" Akira chuckled, "you to swim." You raised a brow, "For what reason?" "Do it or else!" Akira raised her voice, "or else what? You'll kill me?" You stared at her.

"Die." She said and pushed you into the water, "Bye b****" She said and walked off, "Help!" You yelled, you could swim but the current was too much and it was quite windy today, Nao saw you and said, "Natsuya!" Natsuya turned and saw his sister drowning, "Y/n.." He jumped into the water and pulled her out, she was choking like mad, "S-sh-shit! I didn't bring the inhaler.." You muttered, Nao took one out of his pocket, "Emergency." Natsuya nodded and said, "Ikuya you're doing this cause i'm hopeless with this thing." Ikuya rolled his eyes and put it into your mouth, after three pumps, you suddenly fainted, "Hospital's been called." The teacher told them, within a few minutes, the peramedics came and took you away, Nao followed and the rest continued with their training.

After practice, Haruka,Makoto,Asahi,Ikuya and Natsuya ran to the hospital you were warded in. "Hey guys." Nao greeted them. "HOW'S SHE?!" Natsuya asked. Nao sighed and said, "I don't know, she was fine and then half way through the trip her heart dropped. She's alive but in critical condition." Ikuya clenched his fist and Natsuya did too, they both knew it wad Akira who did this.

After waiting for 10 minutes the doctors came out, "how is she?" Nao asked, "Perfectly fine. Everything is normal but physiotherapy is needed. As she has asthma, even being in water can numb her whole body, she can be in a bathtub and all, but swimming is absolutely not aloud, she could've died if you guys called us 5 minutes later. Yes her condition is critical...she is now like glass. Easily broken with just a smash. She is fragile so take care of her." Nao nodded. "You're the doctor that took care of Y/n?" Ikuya questioned, "Yes." they all nodded and thanked the doctor before walking in, Natsuya was hurt, his sister, stuck onto almost every machine, from an IV tube to a breathing tube and even a feeding tube.

His sister was fragile, he needed to protect his sister at all circumstances.

"You guys should go home, I'm quite sure all of you are tired, I'll stay." Natsuya said. "You should go home Natsuya, you're the most tired out of all of us. It's fine, I'll see you guys tomorrow in school, my mother brought my things after hearing what happened since my dad saw her, he works at the physiotherapy part, so he'll help your sister." Nao said.

Everyone nodded and left.

"I promise i will protect you Kirishima Y/n." Nao muttered under his breath.
