Shelena was the first of (Y/N) and Ron's friends to arrive at the Burrow. But that was simply because (Y/N) couldn't stand having no girls to talk to over the holidays, and she was dying to talk to somebody about Harry, so she invited Shelena over early. Plus, none of the Weasley's except (Y/N) and Ron knew of Shelena's secret — her being the daughter of newly-innocent Sirius Black — and the two girls hadn't risked talking about that in their letters, so they were eager to discuss Shelena fitting back into school once the teachers began addressing her by her new official last name, and how the other Weasley's would react.

So when Shelena arrived, Mrs Weasley had Ron sleep in Ginny's room temporarily, to give her older daughter and Shelena some space. "But this will only be temporary. Once Harry and Hermione arrive, the sleeping plan will be completely different." Mrs Weasley had everything all planned out: when Bill and Charlie arrived home, they'd share Fred and George's room. The twins would then bunk with Harry and Ron in Ron's original room, and Shelena, Hermione, (Y/N) and Ginny would share a room. Of course, Percy the Prat had his room all to himself, so he could focus better on his work. Mrs Weasley, amidst all her planning, was also blissfully unaware of the fact that one of her daughter's best friend's was the daughter of a man she still thought of as a crazed mass murderer, and that she'd be living under her roof for the rest of the summer.

"I can't imagine being stuck with Ginny for two whole days!" (Y/N) groaned, falling back onto her bed as Shelena sat on Ron's. "It's been, what, almost a month? You two can't still be mad at each other?" Shelena asked incredulously. But Shelena didn't have siblings. She didn't understand how sibling rivalries could work. "Shelly, this is serious to us! Ginny's mad because I like Harry too, and I'm mad because I don't think she should be mad! So really, it's more her fault than mine!" (Y/N) crossed her arms like a child, and turned to face the wall.

Yeah, it was safe to say Shelena felt like she'd never understand sibling rivalries. "Think of it from Ginny's point of view," she suggested. "She thinks you're stealing her guy, especially since you won't even put in a good word for her. Maybe you should try it, and if he still chooses you, at least you can say you tried to help her. Or you could try talking to her, maybe that'll do you both some good. Honestly tell her if you feel jealousy, or rage, or whatever you're feeling." Even though she was stubborn, (Y/N) had to admit Shelena was right. "Fineeee," the redhead dragged her feet toward the door. "I'll go and see if I can strike a deal with her."

But when (Y/N) knocked on Ginny's door, she was shocked to see Hermione's bushy hair and buck-teethed smile facing her. "Hermy, when did you get here?" (Y/N) said excitedly, hugging her best friend. "Just! Mrs Weasley said I'd be sleeping here, so I thought I'd talk to Ginny first." Ginny herself came to the door, and glared out at her older sister. "Is there something you want?" She asked coldly. (Y/N) was a little taken aback, but she couldn't let her sister's icy behaviour stop her. After asking Hermione to wait with Shelena upstairs, (Y/N) entered Ginny's room and shut the door.

She fidgeted with her fingers nervously, and just like the day she'd argued with Ginny, paced around the room. "Look, Gin, I'm sorry. I should've told you about liking Harry, and I should've kept my promise and put in a good word for you, but I didn't. I guess I did it 'cause I was jealous- I mean, you're so much prettier than I am, and you don't look like a stretched out freak on a bad day, and just- just look at you! So, um, yeah, I just... wanted to say I'm sorry. I'll leave now," as (Y/N) made to leave the room, Ginny grabbed her older sister by the shoulders and hugged her.

"I'm sorry too!" she sobbed into (Y/N)'s shoulder, as (Y/N) felt a wave of relieve coursing through her. "I was jealous of you too. You're so much closer to Harry, and you're on the Quidditch team with him, and you're so ridiculously cool! Like, do you know how awesome the adventures you've gone on sound? And for what it's worth, I think you're totally hot." The two sisters looked at each other in silence for a short second, then burst into uncontrollable laughter that was so loud, Percy came to ask them to shut up. "No can do, big bro!" Ginny yelled out, which caused her and (Y/N) to double up in even louder laughter.
