Dark, cold, warm, wet, loud, quiet. As you reach into the bowl to grab a handful of your favorite snack you look up from your book to see rain falling outside the window of your New York studio apartment, the city lights illuminating the dark grey sky. Some people hate the rain because it brings darkness, cold, and makes you wet at the most inconvenient moments. But those people are also simple, they don't see the beauty in the dark grey clouds or hear the music of the rain pattering softly against windows. They don't see or feel the type of comfort rain brings to those who seek solace in silence but are afraid to be alone.
