As draco sat in the headmaster office he couldn't help but feel incredibly nervous, sitting in front of the man you are planning to betray can do that sometimes.

Oh shit draco thought to himself
His entire planned was ruined, without potter he can't get any sort of information that he needs, he would have no way to help his family or the dark lord, and he didn't know what would happen if he was unable to help them.

Draco was quickly snapped out of his thoughts by an angry potions professor asking him questions.

"Who did this?"
"What happened"
"Who else was involved in this?"

Draco was visibly confused, This wasn't planned, and he had absolutely nothing to do with this.

"No one did anything! It was an accident!" Draco angrily rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. How dare they accuse him of planning something like this!

"Draco, unfortunately as you are his partner, and you are responsible for the potion being brewed incorrectly you will be punished" the headmaster was very calm, unlike the potions teacher who was still very angry as he stood at the headmasters side.

"Severus, will you please call Harry guardians and let them know of the current situation"

Suddenly draco remembered how horrible potter had looked the day he arrived, something didn't feel right, something in his gut was telling him not to let them send him home

"No don't!" Hermione and Ron shout as they run in, both looking pale

The headmaster darts is head in their directions

"Excuse me but may I ask why you wish not to send Harry Potter back to his relatives?"

Hermione and Ron share an anxious look, not sure exactly what to say, Hermione steps up

"We can't tell you unless draco leaves the room." She shoots an angry look towards draco

"Draco, do you mind giving us a moment?"

Draco nods and gets up, closing the door to the headmaster's office, he stands outside the door, trying to figure out what they're saying, suddenly the door opens and draco is called back into the headmasters office

"We have officially decided we will be keeping Harry here, draco since you are the one who's at fault for what has happened, since you incorrectly brewed your potion, you will now be in charge of watching over Harry until Professor snape is able to fix him"

Dracos jaw practically fell to the floor as his headmaster spoke

How am I supposed to take care of that...that thing?! Draco thought to himself as he sighed

"What!? When we said someone could take care of him we didn't mean him! We meant us! Please sir you can't leave Harry with him!" Hermione shouts at the headmaster, anger and distress filling her voice, causing Harry to cry

Suddenly, everyone's eyes turn to Harry, who has been quietly sitting in the chair, shaking as everyone started to yell at each other.

"All of you shut up!" Draco angrily snapped at the others

"Professor you cannot let him take Harry! Look he's already upset him!" Hermione points to a distressed Harry who has started to sob

"unfortunately my mind is made up, draco and Harry will get their own private dorm in the west wing dormitory, they will be supplied with everything they will need, but for the time being draco and Harry will stay in the slytherin dorms while myself and Professor snape prepare a dorm in the west wing"

Before hermione or Ron could protest Professor snape escorted them out of the room, leaving draco alone with the headmaster and Harry.

"Why am I the one that has to take care of him" Draco angrily asked

"Do you have a problem with taking care of him? Because if so we can always have you do an alternative punishment. But I can assure you that you will prefer taking care of Harry over anything else"

Draco angrily shook his head, not wanting to get into any more trouble he crossed his arms over his chest

"No sir it's fine"

"Great, now you may accompany me to the hospital wing to get Harry checked out by madam Pomfrey" the headmaster smiled and got up from his chair, he scooped up Harry who had started to fall asleep in his chair

As they walked down the corridors to the hospital wing draco couldn't help but be frustrated, all of a sudden his plans had been ruined, he had gotten in trouble, and now he was going to be forced to take care of a child version of the boy he had planned to manipulate.

Now all he had was a dumb child to take care of, a child of which he knew nothing about, could this get any worse for him?

As they approached the hospital wing Harry had already  fallen asleep in the headmaster's arms which would hopefully make the whole process much smoother.

"Madam pomfrey!" The headmaster called out as they entered the hospital wing, immediately madam pomfrey came out of her office and smiles as she saw the headmaster

"Hello Albus, how may I help you?" She smiles at him

"Well we had a very unfortunate incident in potions today and Harry Potter was unfortunately turned into a toddler, he just needs a check up to make sure he's ok and to find out how old he is"

Madam pomfrey nodded and looked at the sleeping boy in the headmasters office, she couldn't help but smile

"Alright if you could please lay him down on one of the beds I would really appreciate that"

As Harry was laid out on the bed draco looked down at him, and he felt confused, he knew it was Harry Potter, The Harry Potter, the boy he was supposed to hate, but he didn't feel hatred towards him, instead he felt guilt. He knew what he was doing was wrong. He knew he was betraying an innocent boy who had truly done nothing wrong. And now he would be forced to take care of the boy who he had only wanted to hurt. But he was innocent. And Draco knew that deep in his soul he would regret betraying him.

Draco sat down on the bed next to Harry's, watching as madam pomfrey examined him, he watched as her face dropped, and she pulled the headmaster away to talk in private.

He decided to listen in to their conversation as best as possible, but all he could make out was a few panicked words from madam pomfrey

Then the headmaster spoke

"We will fix this"

Fix what?
