"We meet again in this garden full of secrets, Orphilia."

                             -Orphilia Ward-

I woke up franticly with sweat trickled down my body due to the formidable dream I'd been to for the past few weeks. I finally caught my breath and looked over at the green numbers flashing from the alarm clock, "4:44 am" it read. I sighed putting my hand on my head, regretting even falling asleep.

I stayed up till about 12am reading my worries away, it's the only way I can escape reality.

Slowly pulling myself out of bed knowing I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, I made my way to the cramped bathroom I shared with my sister.

I turned the shower on and stripped from whatever clothing still remained on my sweaty body.

Wetting my curly locks, applying my shampoo and detangling the birds nest I had due to my wild sleeping.

"I have an interview at 7, how am I getting there today? Don't forget to get groceries, pick up medicine for Alis.. " I reminded myself of my agenda for the day. Hoping that it would go all according to plan, especially the interview.

I needed to be on time for this interview.

I didn't wanna keep having to depend on my auntie for the rent money, nor money for the food that we eat so I decided that it was time I got a better job.

After scrubbing my brown silky skin clean of that dream, more like nightmare, I dried myself off and applied my coco butter to my skin, next I searched for my best clothes hanging in my closet, I ended up picking out a white silk shirt matching it with a black pencil skirt. Once I got dressed I looked at my alarm clock to catch the time once again.

5:56am "I still have time to make Alis something to eat"

I walked to the mirror to see the outfit I compiled and instantly regretted it, a frown fell upon my face.

"I look so fat in this.." I shook my head, "No, I don't have time for this." I note and made my way to the kitchen so I could start cooking.

My sister Alis woke up and came into the kitchen, yawning from her late night shift at the bar,  "Good morning 'lia" she spoke in a still trying to wake voice.

"Morning Ali, I made you breakfast." I handed her a plate full of food and smiled at her. "What are you gonna eat?" she questioned me, before answering I held a long pause before speaking "Well I wouldn't wanna burst out of these clothes so I'm gonna just skip breakfast" she frowned at me.

"But you look perfect in those clothes 'lia, promise me that you will at least eat something for lunch? it could be something as small as a granola bar and I'd be happy that you ate something." I nodded agreeing to her, then looked at my phone for the time

6:37 am

Time to go, "Bye Ali, wish me luck." I said kissing her cheek in a family-friendly manner as I rushed out the door.

I finally decided on my mode of transportation, the car my auntie gave us. The reason we don't particularly use it is because, our jobs have always been close to home so we could walk there.

We never used it, we agreed that we wouldn't use it unless it was an emergency, or we got a job out of walking distance since gas was pretty high and we didn't have the budget for buying gas every few weeks.

"Fuck what if they think I'm stupid..? or not qualified for this job..? I look like a slut in this, I shouldn't have worn this stupid outfit..no no, I got this. I have to get this job for Ali." I said while sitting in the parking garage of the building.
