Makenna's P.O.V

We never seen or heard from Niall or Harry until 3 years later. We took a trip to London to stay with my brother Matt. One day we decided to go out shopping, just me and Niamh. We walked through London's busy streets and awwed at the beautiful clothes and Niamh had to drag me away from the most beautiful pair of blue shoes. We walked and stood ouside a bar "The Hanoway Arms". We walked inside and sat down. We ordered cokes and relaxed, we chatted for a while and looked up when a red headed woman, well into her 50s stood on the small stage and announced they were starting the karaoke. A man in a black suit with white hair sat unamused waiting for someone to go up. No one did.

"Niamh, come on we'll go up!"

"Why not" she smiled and we ran on the stage and picked our song. We decided on Miley Cyrus' Bottom of the Ocean. The music started and we sang

It's been in the past for a while

I get a flash and I smile

At the bottom of the ocean

The white haired man stood up and walked swiftly up to us

"I'm Johnny Parsons, I work for Syco music. Would you girls be interested in signing up?"

Niamh's P.O.V

"To Like..SyCo?" I gasped 

"Isn't that Simon Cowell's.." Makenna whispered, her eyes wide. 

The Man laughed, and smiled.

"You girls are quite...something." He said, and smiled, "I know simon's looking for a female band or duo to perform as an opening act at one of his band's tours." 

"And..."

"You girls fit the bill. Hey, I'll scheduele a meeting at two tomorrow. You'll get the contract, details, etc. I'll give you time to think tonight." Johnny told us, and exited.

I looked at Makenna.

"Did we just get scouted?" I whispered, and Makenna squealed.

"Yes." She cried, and we ran down the street, and to Matt's. 

"Matty!" Makenna cried, running to the kitchen, where Matt was. 

"We got scouted, by simon cowell's agent. To sing Matt, to sing!" She laughed, and threw her arms around him.

He laughed, and looked over to me.

"Really?" He asked, and I nodded.

"Tomorrow, there's a meeting with Simon." Makenna giggled. 

We went up to our room, to pick our outfits for the next day.

Makenna chose a black skater skirt, a white blouse and black heels.

I chose light blue jeans, a vintage FRANKIE SAYS RELAX shirt, and white high heeled boots. 

"Kenna, I'm scared."

"I'm scared too Niamhy. But you have to swallow your fears okay?"

"I don't know how to. I never have." I whispered.

"Niamh, I'll never let anyone hurt you again."

"Best friends?"

"Me and you Niamh, friends forever. I promise, and I never break a promise."

I got up, and It was one. 

"Makenna, we slept in!" I cried, and jumped out of my bed, and ran to Makenna's bed, at the other side of the room. I poked her arm.

"MAKENNA!" I cried, and she woke up.

"Oh crap..."

Okay, so It's half two. I'm officially panicking.

We arrived at SyCo.

"I haven't got my lipstick done!" Makenna whined, as we entered.

"We're simon's 2 o'clock." I said to the receptionist, who led us to the room.

Simon turned round."Ladies. I've been waiting, you're late."

"We're worth the wait." Kenna giggled.

"So, You're-"

"Makenna Phoenix, and Niamh Fitzgerald." I smiled.

"I've been wondering, would you like to do this girls?"  

"With all my heart." I whispered, "I want to sing."

"Same, I'll take a shot."

"Here's the contract. Sign, if you please." Simon smiled, and I picked up the pen, and signed, so did makenna.

"Yeah, the boys are looking forward to meeting you

"What boys?"

"One direction, of course."

"WHAT?"
