Makenna's P.O.V
In 2010 I lost 2 of my best friends. That year was the worst year of my life, and probably of Niamh's too. In June 2010 Niall gave me and Niamh some great news.
"Makenna, Niamh, can I talk to youns?"
"Sure Nialler" we said together
"I've decided to audition for the x factor"
"No way!" Niamh squeled
"You'll be amazing Niall, we know you will" I said hugging him.
Niall left a week later for his audition. He called us to say he'd gotten through to Bootcamp
Niamh and I had jumped around my room and knocked over almost anything.
"AHHHHH!" Niamh screamed.
My half sister Lily wasn't happy with the noise "What's goin' on here!" she shouted, still in her pink pjs
"Niall is through to bootcamp!" I screamed at her and she joined in our celebratory jumping and screaming.
Eventually Niall went to bootcamp and to judges houses. He wasn't allowed to tell us so we had to wait like everyone else to see if he was through. We were devastated when he wasn't put through but then he and 4 other boys were called to see Simon Cowell. They were all strikingly handsome.
"Jees Niamh would you get a look at that!" I said pointing to the one on the end called Louis.
"I know! But look at Niall" she said smiling at the tv.
They showed close ups of all the boys as Simon told them the news. When something struck me.
"It can't be!" I said opening my mouth in shock
"What!" Niamh said staring at me
I looked at the boy on the tv. His face was boyish and his dark brown hair fell slightly over his eyes.
"It's Harry!" Niamh stared at the boy too
"Harry? As in Harry Styles? Your Harry?"
"Yeah, my Harry" I said my mouth dry.
The boys were put into a band and called themselves One Direction. I emailed Harry and Niamh called Niall everyday. We couldn't believe it! My Harry and Niamh's Niall in the one band. But one night things turned from happy to heartbroken. We were at Niamh's.
"Can i use the laptop?" I asked
"Sure, it's over there" she said pointing to the silver laptop on her desk. I went over and picked it up, there, right beside it was a picture of me Niamh and Niall. "BEST FRIENDS FOREVER" it said on it. I logged on to my email address and checked my inbox. There was a message from Harry.
Dear Makenna,
The X Factor is going great. I'm having sooooooo much fun. You're right Niall is amazing, he's a great laugh, so are all the boys, but what's up with his obsession with Nandos????? Anyways we're really busy here and I don't really have much spare time, god this is harder than i thought, Makenna, what i'm trying to say is......... i don't really have time for you, we can't be friends anymore, sorry.

Niamh was on the phone. "What do you mean Niall?" she hung up.
