The pregnancy was an a difficult one, to say the least. Every morning, Camile would wake up in with unbearable pains in her stomache that worsened when her baby, Lana, kicked. The morning sickness had grown into a constat nauseous feeling, even past breakfast time. But Camile was still excited about the arrival of her little baby girl.

Her husband, Anthony, was just as thrilled. He couldn't wait until Lana's arrival. He loved feeling Lana's movements in Camile's stomache and planning out the nursery. He had spent a great amount of time painting the room's walls yellow, detailing white daisies and bumblebees in the corner. He assembled a bookshelf and shopped with Camile for the perfect books to fill it.

However, despite all of the joy surrounding the couple's lives, Anthony could tell that something was off with Camile. At first, he thought the her changes were only side affects to the pregnancy. Like her hunger, tiredness, and heightened emotions. But soon the symptoms began to worsen. Camile was constantly stressed and short tempered, her attitude towards Lana had shifted. She didn't want to decorate the nursery and she hated when people brought up the pregnacy.

Anthony tried to confront her about it.

"Cam? Can we talk?" He asked her as she was helping clean the dinner table up one night.

"Sure. What's up?" Camile said, not even meeting his eyes.

"You didn't help me pick out a crib today like you said you would. A few weeks ago you said you were excited to shop for a crib with me." He leaned on the counter next to her as she rinsed a dish.

"I was too tired to shop," she replied quickly.

Anthony paused for a moment before speaking again. "Well, maybe tomorrow we can decorate the room together? It's not finished yet." Anthony hadn't spent quality time with Camile in weeks. He was desperate for her company again.

"I don't want to. It's not like the baby will notice the decorations." She dried her hands on a towel and left the kitchen.

This was so unlike the Camile he knew. She was always the more talkative one in the relationship, and she was very paticular about how the house looked. She once lectured him for five minutes because she found a shirt of his on the floor instead of in the laundry hamper.

He sighed worriedly and decided to just go to bed and bring this topic up to her again in the morning after they had both rested.

Until he was awoken to a loud shatter at 4 am in the morning, followed by Camile yelling "No!" in the kitchen.

Anthony hurried into the kitchen and found a bottle of vodka lying broken on the floor, Camile looking at it in horror.

"Cam, what happened?" Anthony asked, finally being able to look her in the eye for the first time in weeks.

"I was going to drink it."
