"What? What's going on with you?" Anthony demanded.

"I don't know, I don't know, I don't know! Help me!" Camile fell to the ground, sobbing deeply. Anthony sat down and wrapped his arm around her.

"What's wrong, Cam? You can tell me." He spoke gently, the anger that filled his voice a moment ago had dissipated.

"I-" She tried to start but her sentence was choked by her tears. Anthony waited a minute for her to speak, just holding her.

Suddenly, she wiped her tears and rose to her feet. "I'll clean this up. You go back to bed." She swiftly grabbed a towel.

"What?" Anthony said, standing too. Her stared at her, perplexed. He watched as she calmly gathered the class and threw it away. "What's happened to you? This isn't like you."

"I just forgot that I can't drink right now. When I remebered, I got startled and dropped the bottle." She spoke blandly, obviously uninterested in the current situation. She put the vodka soaked towl in the hamper and went back to bed.

The next morning was a rather awkward one. Camile ate her eggs quietly as Anthony moved the food on his plate around, unsure of what to say. Eventually, he gave up and stood with a sigh.

A soft kiss landed atop Camile's head. "I'll see you after work." Anthony waited for Camile to say something, but instead she only nodded and drank her orange juice. He walked to the door, jacket in hand, and lingered for an extra moment. "I love you."

"Love you too," Camile replied before placing her dishes in the sink. She left the room.

After work, Anthony stopped at the flower shop and bought Camile a dozen white roses, her favorite. He hoped that the act of kindness would help her open up to him, or destress.

But the sight her saw when he arrived home was far from stressless.

He opened the door, roses in hand, and called for Camile.

"Cam? Sweetie, I got you something." He heard a loud and consistent banging from the bedroom. "Cam?" Setting the roses on the table, he rushed into the bedroom.

"Camile! Stop!" He yelled when he saw the sight. Camile was running her protruding stomach into the wall repeatedly. Anthony tried to grab her and pulled her away from the wall, but she overpowered him. Why was she suddenly so strong?

"Camile! You'll hurt yourself and Lana!" He tried once again to drag her away from the wall, but he was thrown backwards, crashing into the opposide bedroom wall.

"I cannot have this body with this thing inside of me," Camile yelled in a unhuman like deep, rough voice. When she turned around he saw the dark red color of her eyes he knew. He knew that this was not Camile.

This was something evil.
