Richard and Seigi One Shots || Fanfic ||

Restaurant Date

It was a cold day; even in Jewelry Étranger, Seigi had chills going up against his spine. Richard came out of his office and went to the kitchen where Seigi was making pudding.

"O-Oh, Richard!"

"Are you perhaps making-"

"Yes, indeed I am!

Richard gave Seigi a warm smile when he heard those words. Seigi started to go pink from his boss giving him such a sweet facial expression. Seigi was hesitant to ask Richard something he had been thinking about for a few days now, but he decided this was the best time to do it.

"Richard, seen as you always take me to dinner I-I thought maybe I could treat you to lunch today?"

The smile on Richard's face remained. "Very well."

So when it became lunch, Richard and Seigi went outside of the shop and walked down the street. Seigi's eyes darted around the area, looking for a nice place to eat. A few minutes later, Seigi finally spotted a nice-looking place from afar.

"Look, Richard!" Seigi grinned while pointing at the small building in the distance.

Seigi grabbed Richard's hand unintentionally and ran while pulling Richard behind. Richard's face turned a soft pink. Seigi's hands were cold from the weather, but Richard's warm hands eased Seigi's.

Once they stood in front of the building, Seigi noticed he had held Richard's hand the whole time. His face started to feel warm and fuzzy. He let go of the diamond-eyed man and rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Let's go in then," Seigi managed to say.

They found a nice place to sit together. There were lots of couples in the restaurant, which Seigi tried his best not to notice. Seigi scanned the menu and decided on soba noodles, whereas Richard ordered a large strawberry sundae.

Seigi had finished his meal, but Richard's large sundae was only half gone. Seigi watched Richard eat his enormous meal, wondering how anyone could manage such a thing.

"Would you like to try some?" Richard asked, noticing Seigi was watching him.

"O-Oh, um, okay then..."

Richard scooped up a decent-sized spoonful and held the spoon for Seigi.

"W-what are you doing?" Seigi blurted.

"Are you going to eat it or not?"

Seigi sighed as he scrunched his eyes closed, leaning forward to eat the spoonful of food. A blush formed on Seigi as he ate from the spoon. As soon as he had the food in his mouth, he backed away, directing his gaze to the floor instead of Richard. He soon felt stares being directed at them both. Seigi looked back up to Richard with a worried face.

"This sort of feels like a date, doesn't it?" Richard said as he ate a spoonful of sundae.

"W-WHAT?" Seigi yelled.

Richard's eyes then cast on Seigi, who was red as a tomato. "My apologies if that made you feel uncomfortable."

Seigi scrunched his eyebrows and stood up with both hands on the table. "Richard, you've never once made me feel that way please don't apologise...I was just surprised."

Richard let out a soft chuckle. "I'm happy to hear it."

After they had finished, they stood outside where it was cold. Seigi was shivering from head to toe. Richard looked over to him and pulled the scarf from his own neck and wrapped it around Seigi.

"Wear warmer clothes tomorrow. Don't be foolish."

Seigi smiled as he looked at the item of clothing Richard had given him. "I enjoyed eating with you, thank you for keeping me company."

"I enjoyed it too," Richard said with his soft smile.

They walked back to the shop together chatting about random things, and about halfway there Seigi slowly grabbed Richard's hand and held it tightly. He couldn't bare to look at Richard when he did so.

Richard squeezed Seigi's hand. "You need to wear gloves too,"  Richard chuckled.
