First Person POV, Melodia

Two Years after the Reawakening....

It had been a few years since I have come back to this world and have reawakened my Nen and reunited with some of my Pokemon. I kept a daily contact with Mother Cogita, where she had already found Volo, the Diamond and Pearl Clan leaders Adaman and Irida, Captain Cyllene, Anthe (who has been sending me clothes on a regular basis ever since she had been informed of my living situation), Nurse Pesselle, and some of the Wardens, except Lian and Sabi. Unfortunately there was no sign of their Noble Pokemon, which greatly distressed the lot of them. I shared the same feelings. On top of still not finding the Bandit Trio and Zinnia, I was greatly worried something may have happened to them. Same with the twins from the Survey Corps and sweet little Mitsuru.

I am now twelve years old, about to enter my first year in middle school in Aldera Junior High. I have kept a low profile, even though my so-called brother and "Kacchan" always found ways to torment me. But thus far I've never responded to them, even when they threw rocks and punches at me.

The only time where I can get any peace of mind is at night, usually at my camp. But that always come after my old man does his nightly beating. Even then I always wait until after everyone else had turned in for the night before I leave the house until first light.

With the reawakening of my Nen, I contemplated on what I wanted to do.

I had no interest in being a hero, especially if it means becoming some famewhoring gloryhound like my entire family and my brother's friend is turning into. And I have no particular reason to become a villain either as I find that idea to be boring in this world. Back in the other world, it may be an option especially if you got a Hunter's license that way you can get away with more shit. But villainy isn't my cup of tea, especially when I think the word "villain" I immediately think of my biological family and sometimes Beni and Kamado.

Thankfully, there was another "hidden" option that promises power but doesn't require being in the spotlight. And it didn't have to involve being in some dinky police station nor some other thankless low-paying job.

That would be the government agencies. Interpol, MI6, FBI, the Ministry of Defense, the whole she-bang. I'm under their protection and have many connections through them such as the UN. And I have managed to keep many notable figures out of trouble, such as reinstating the prime minister Ishimaru back into his seat, as that whole scandal was a setup from some jackass who wanted the seat for himself. I managed to clean that mess up and prove the man's innocence (even though he is under tight scrutiny but that's the better than total shame on his family name, and his grandson doesn't deserve to suffer for his actions).

I started off free-lancing and being a gray hat hacker before I caught the attention of the Defense with my activities, which they hired me in their ranks when I took out their number one public enemy Muscular and my actions, and saving one of the Water Hose Duo, caught the eye of one of their top agents that was on the scene.

Let's go back about a month ago around spring break when this kinda started...

Flashback time....

It was a normal spring day.

The Yagis were out for the two weeks of Spring Break, leaving me alone as per usual.

Which meant business for me will be booming for the next couple of weeks. I had some juicy info to deliver to some clients, some weed and medication to deliver, and some gray market goods and whatnot to drop off with various buyers. And many people having been paying a pretty penny for what I have to offer. Like my brother, I also collect information on heroes, but I have not only have their Quirks analyzed, but I have also had the drawbacks, plus their identities as civilians. Depending on how shitty they are, I give the information and dirt found on them to whoever wants to take them down, provided I get a fetching price on it. That and my Smoke Bombs, Sticky Globs, Stealth Sprays, and Scatterbangs are a hot commodity on the dark web. That and my Aux drinks, healing Potions, and Elixirs are a big help to those fighting on the frontlines. With my ability to summon the raw materials for such items I don't need to worry about running out of stock on them. And I have the recipes for all of these items committed to memory, and I have a special notebook that has these recipes written down in the Hisuian language so nobody who happens upon it can translate it. Heroes (mostly underground agents or vigilantes) and Villains alike have been buying my products (all of which are delivered via Delibird or Pelliper to avoid having my identity exposed). All of my proceeds go to funding for my survival and for what later became the formation of a gang of Quirkless peers who have been let down by society and had been turned away by even their own kin.
