"SKY, pahiram ako ng phone!" sigaw ng kaibigan ko sa akin.
"Why do you need it again, Alegre?" tanong kong nauumay ngunit inilalahad parin naman ang phone ko sa kaniya.
"Just..things!"
Inagaw ko kaagad ang phone ko ng ganoon ang sinagot niya. "It's a girl again!" asar kong sambit sa kaniya.
Tumawa siya dahil dito. "C'mon! They really likes you."
"How much did they pay you? I'll double it." umay kong ngiwi.
He's always like that. Introducing a girl to me that's not even my types! He's doing it just for a money even if he can have anything he want in just a snap.
He calls it, enjoy. But not me! I ain't enjoying of him, finding me a girl for a stupid money!
"Kinakabahan lang naman ako sa'yo, Sky." Umupo na siya sa tabi ko. "Since you and Irene broke up, you always felt useless and never gaslight any girl." inakbayan niya ako. "Dude, hindi lang si Irene ang babae sa mundong ito."
"I know."
"Then try find different for yourself!"
Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya.
Alam kong sa babae ang tinutukoy niyang 'Different', pero iba talaga 'yung dating sa akin 'e. Para bang, iba ang pagkakarinig ko.
At mukhang kailangan ko nga ng bago sa sarili ko.
"Hey, Vico!"
Nawala ako sa iniisip ko ng may tumawag sa kaibigan ko.
Sabay kaming tumingin doon at napangiwi ng makita si Nico Vreece Alegre, ang kuya ng kasama ko.
At syempre, hindi lang kuya. Nakakatakot na kuya kamo.
He is wearing a formal tuxedo again, with his glasses on.
He is handsome in any dress but this one, he's really hot as hell. No wonder every girl looked at him and get attracted to him so bad.
Pero sino namang maglalakas loob na kausapin ang isang Nico, hindi ba? No one but us only.
They were afraid of Nico because of his aura and anything else. He is hot as hell but as cold as ice either.
And i think he is here to lecture his dear brother, maybe because he found the news of Vico, backing out on school.
Oo, ayaw ng mag-aral ng gago dahil tinatamad na raw siya.
Dadalawa nalang din naman daw sila ng Kuya niya, mas gusto pa niyang magtrabaho nalang sa kumpanya nilang limpak limpak kesa mag-aral. Kaso kabaliktaran ang nais ni Nico para sa kapatid.
"Oh come on. Don't do a scandal here, Vreece!" asar na ani Vico.
And note. Vico is the only person who can call Nico, in his second name. Even i, don't dare to call him that way.
"I won't." Nico, in his cold voice answered and looked at me. "Drive Vico home, Skylar. I'll discuss with the Dean and i'll be home soon. Do not let my brother escape."
I nodded into all things he said. "Okay. I'll do it."
"Oh, now you just made me lost a bestfriend. Good for you." irap ni Vico at kinuha bag nito't umalis na.
