Chapter 4

Zee's POV

Hey Zee I am going to eat a lot today. Is your wallet ready? Max said while annoyingly smiling at me.

I sigh knowing how true his words are, this guy eats like he's been starving for months. We are now on our way to the cafeteria.

As we reached the cafeteria I immediately saw Nu with Nat eating their lunch. My insides immediately twisted. I should try asking if we could eat our lunch with them. But before I could even take a step toward them. The one beside me immediately yelled calling Nat and Nu while waving his hand like a child. The two turned their heads with a different expression on their face.

Nu's face immediately turned into a smile with a hint of blush on his chubby cheeks. Yeah of course because it's Max his crush.

On the hand, Nat's reaction is the total opposite he is frowning and mumbling words under his breath. Hahaha, this kid is really annoyed at Max. We walked towards them.

Hi P'Max and P'Zee, Nu greeted while staring at Max before sparing a glance at me.

Hello, P'Zee Nat greeted with a smile and did not even bother greeting Max nor spare a glance at him.

Hey I'm here Nat why won't you greet me, Max complained while pouting acting like he was hurt. Then they started arguing again.

I diverted my attention to Nu. Hi Nu can we eat our lunch here with you guys? I asked.
Of course P' he replied.

I drag Max with me to order our food after getting our order I immediately sit beside Nu, not letting Max sit beside him.

While eating I started a conversation with him regarding our practice to keep his attention solely on me.

What time are you available later for practice Nu?

Maybe after our P at 4 pm. Are we going to practice in the club room? He asked.

Uhmm, I think we should practice there first so we can also arrange the parts we are going to sing. He nodded at my response

I kept talking with him about things related to our performance and some random things. Which makes me happy this is the first time where we had a long conversation. I see him smiling and reacting to me.

Nat's POV

Nu and P'Zee are busy talking while I'm here dealing with this annoying person beside me.

I was ignoring him the whole time he was talking.

Hey Nat why are you ignoring me? Max asked

Isn't it obvious I don't like talking with you, I answered with the most irritating voice I have

But why I am not even teasing you. I want to have a normal conversation. He confusingly responds.

I don't want any type of conversation with you, got it? His expression became serious.

Do you hate me that much? He asked.

Yes, I replied. After that, he did not talk at all the whole lunchtime.

Zee's POV

After lunch, we bid our goodbyes. And I was feeling really happy at the moment. As we walk to our classroom I noticed how silent Max was which is not normal.

Hey, what happened to you? I asked him

Nat hates me, Zee, he said and looked so sad.

Well after all the teasing you've done it's quite normal that he hates you. You never left that kid alone, you tease him every time you see him. I said

Wait do you like Nat?! I asked.
