"I'm trusting you." he said before going back to scream out orders to the other members.
"Wait!" I said not knowing what took control of me.
I held his arm and turned him over giving him a rushed peck on the cheek. When would I ever get to do this again? I fled as soon as Captain realised what was going on and used the escape boat carrying Seonghwa. We rowed to the closest piece of land we could find which wasn't too far away. I counted the amount we took from the ship and checked how many days we would last.
Hongjoo rowed the boat as a healed Seonghwa. Once the wound closed I took some fresh water and sprinkled it over Seonghwa's face. His eyes steadily fluttered opened. He didn't do any physical movements except scanning his surroundings.
"Did we escape?"
"The others are on the ship. Captain dispatched us to find the cromer." Hongjoo answered.
"We have this map and some supplies. We can last for a few days on land."
"Which way are we headed now?" he asked.
"We're 3kms from Mogopi." I answered. "Seems to be a cooking town. I wonder why the cromer would be there."
"Well, we won't come to know until we reach there." Seonghwa answered.
"Have you been to this part before?" I asked Hongjoo.
"No, it's my first time I think. I have heard about someone called Moonbyul from there though."
"Oh? What does she do?" I asked hearing a familiar name.
"She judges various cooking contests."
"Oh."
"How much longer until we reach there?" Hongjoo asked.
"Why don't you use Sangeun powers to move the boat like that day when you protected the boat?" Seonghwa asked.
"OH MY GOD! You're a genius Seonghwa. Yes, I can do that."
And so I did, getting there in less than half an hour. There were chatters of people at the port. Looking at the fancy clothes of the people arriving at port I felt more, undressed in a way. I mean our clothes were more ragged and had various cuts and holes because of the fight. Hongjoo probably felt the same because I saw bring her hands to slowly cover her chest. Seonghwa came forward cover her.
"Let's find an inn." Seonghwa stated the obvious.
I found a local and asked him for near-by inns. He gave me some directions and we followed them to find a small, decent inn.
"How may we help you?" said Yuqi.
"Umm, we needed a stay for 3 people." I requested.
"How many days?"
"Not sure ma'am." said Hongjoo.
"There's only two rooms available. We might need you to shift to 1 room later because it's cooking competition season." she said.
"Thank you for the information Yuqi." I winked at her.
"Ahh how?" curiosity dripped in her voice.
"Name tag," I said leaving a pout on her face. She handed over the keys to both the rooms. "Thank you!" I mouthed.
We picked our stuff and moved to the second floor. One room was on the left side of the staircase, the other was on the right.
"So, how are we splitting?" Hongjoo asked.
I suggested the most effective tool that is used to make decisions- Rock, paper, scissors.
I deployed paper, Seonghwa deployed rock and Hongjoo deployed scissors. So far no progress.
Second round, Hongjoo and I deployed rock while Seonghwa deploed paper.
