(quick a/n, this is an a/u so some things may be incorrect in the story just shsh its true in this universe ok)

<<Wrighteous' POV>>

i had nothing to do, i had finished the weekly and daily already, i might as well go to the rec center, so i opened up my watch and hit the reccenter button. once im teleported in theres a bunch of little kids surrounding me "IS IT TRUE!?" one of them asked, as if i knew what they meant "uh.. is what true?" i ask them, probably like 7 people surrounding me "wait do you actually not know?" they sigh "its probably not true then.." they say as them and probably 4 other people walk away. i go over to the basketball court to see how far away i can be from the basket to still get it in, until someone walks up to me "do you want me to tell you what they were talking about?" she asked me. i had a bad feeling but i was curious "uh, yeah. that would be nice" i respond to her "so uh.. someone started a rumor that you like slat, theres also another rumor that you two are dating. im not sure which one they were referring to but its probably one of them" she told me. i was shocked on how people could think i liked him. i mean i thought ive said before i was straight but i guess in this world that makes people think youre just in the closet. "oh, well i dont like him and were DEFINITELY not dating, so both are untrue." i told her, she didnt seem surprised but after i said it i heard one of the people who were surrounding me yelling. "NOOOOOOOO!!" they yelled. i chuckled and went back to trying to get the ball in the hoop, until i got an invite to slats dorm.

<<Slat's POV>>

wrighteous spawned in, i needed to talk to him about the rumor. "uh did you hear what people are saying about us?" he asked me. "be honest, you started the rumor wrighteous." i say immediately after him. "what? i didnt even know it existed until i got crowded in the rec center!" he told me, meaning he wasnt the one who started it. i couldnt think of anyone else who couldve started the rumor though, i sighed "oh alright uh do you wanna record a video later then? you can choose what game if youd like." i say hoping i didnt make anything awkward he nods his head, not saying anything. i was a bit sad from him not talking since i liked hearing his voice. not in a sus way at all just if i was sad he could probably easily calm me down you know? "im gonna head out now" he says. i do a thumbs up as i watch him open his watch and join golden trophy. i exit out of recroom and while walking through my house i see myself blushing when i look in the mirror, not sure why. i took a photo and sent it to wrighteous jokingly saying "thanks a lot you did this" but after i sent it i kinda thought, what if it was because of him? i brushed it off and decided i should lay down.
