<<Wrighteous' POV>>

i slowly wake up and realize my face was buried in slats neck and he had his hand in my hair! after about a minute he stopped but i was still blushing a lot from it. i didnt feel like moving, though i still sat up "im so sorry.." i say to him seeing he was blushing too "nah its fine, we were up at like 2 in the morning and i woke you up pretty early, its all good i swear" he responded to me "lets just not tell anyone about this, especially because of the rumors that people are saying about us, alright?" i ask and he nods his head. its already around 3 and i was bored, slat didnt seem bored though. so without bothering him i got up and sat on my bed, grabbed my phone and scrolled through tiktok. i look up to see him looking at me. "uh.. hi?" i say to him awkwardly "sorry i spaced out" he said as he shuts youtube "im bored, do you guys have any board games or maybe uno?" he asks. "uh we have monopoly, uno, taco cat goat cheese pizza, sorry, trouble, chutes and ladders, mancala, pretty basics stuff really" i respond, he looks at me with a confused look. "taco cat goat cheese pizza? whats that?" he asks me "oh follow me, ill teach you how to play!" i say as i walk downstairs, him behind me. i take out the game and start explaining it, after a few minutes we actually start playing it. after about 2 hours we get bored of playing the game and since it was raining he thought itd be fun to go outside. id be alright with that if it werent pouring rain but he said itd be fun to walk through the neighborhood so we still went.

<<Slat's POV>>

"what if we actually kissed" i say without really thinking. he looked over to me and widened his eyes "no like hear me out, we make them think the rumors were true then we just go jk and upset them you know? if theyre gonna start rumors about people they dont know might as well fuck around with them." i explained. "yeah but how would we even do it. its not like we can makeout in recroom. and plus whats even the point in it?" he asks "thats the thing, youre the one in recroom and once someone mentions the rumor then you can just be like 'aBoUt ThAt' and then we can kiss. doesnt have to be long just at least a peck you know?" i explained further, he nods his head without really saying anything, but i can see him blushing a bit at the idea. after we got back inside wrighteous' mom gave us both towels. "jeez why did you decide to go on a walk in the pouring rain!" she asks both of us. we shrug and she sighs as we head up to wrighteous' room "so do you wanna do it now?" i ask, he sighs. "let me just think about it, then maybe tomorrow." he responded. why was i so excited for the plan? i only wanted to do it for shits and giggles but now it seems like i want to do it so i can kiss him.. is that part of the reason?
