(a/n sorry short chapter im only putting 2 POVs per chapter so thats why)

<<Wrighteous' POV>>

i hear im phone ding and i check my messages. i see what slat sent me and laugh a bit and then think to myself, was he being serious? surely not, were both straight so it could be sunburn or even being embarrassed by something. then i realized i just died in jumbotron on the last level, fuck. well i should probably lay down now, as im walking up to my room i got another message from slat 'can i go to your house tomorrow? my parents are going on vacation and i dont like travelling nor being alone. itll only be like 3 days' he said. "of course" i responded as i put my phone down next to my bed so i could fall asleep.

<<Slat's POV>>

i knocked on wrighteous' door expecting him to open it but instead it was his mom "hi slat! what are you doing here?" oh he never told his mom im staying over? odd. i guess i did message him at 2 in the morning so makes sense. "oh wrighteous didnt tell you? i was gonna stay over for a few days since my parents are going on a vacation and i dont like travelling or being alone he said i could stay here, if youre alright with me staying here, that is." i explained to her. "oh of course, stay as long as you like" whew thank god. i walk inside headed to his room. when i open the door he was still asleep. i didnt wanna shake him awake so i looked in his closet and grabbed the air horn and used that to wake him up. "jesus fucking christ what was that for?" he asked in an annoyed tone "you were asleep" i respond smiling as i sit down at his desk "heres the thing, i didnt feel like bringing my vr so if you wanna play ill have to go to my house and you can call me and well play like that." i say, he nods his head and sits up "do you want anything for breakfast?" he asks "if i wanted something i wouldve grabbed it before coming up here idiot" i responded to him. he rolls his eyes and walks downstairs, i stay in his room and mess with shit on his computer until he gets back.
