Tension And Surprises

Morning of the second day was filled with confusion.

"So let me get this straight a person wanted to make a deal with Flamton so put a sleep spell on all of us to keep us oblivious to it. Until they grabbed your book which woke you up?" Calmo asked Van clearly confused.

"Uhh yeah I guess that sums it up." Van said scratching his head.

Calmo looked very confused with a million question but no way to ask them.

"What was his name again?" Helistin asked intrigued.

"He called himself Yton Lvide The Dealmaker. Have you heard of the name Helistin?" Flam asked.

"No sadly." Helistin said.

After hours of discussions they all decided to continue through the forest.

While the crew was going through the forest they were all on high alert. Flam's bow was loaded throughout they trip.
Calmo had her sword on her shoulder. Mosquito was flying high while Grebito was driving the carriage. Helistin was trying to find out more about Yton.

After a very tense ride they reached a opening.

There was a village of druids going about their day while the crew just stood there. "Should we introduced ourselves or not. I mean it has been over hundreds of years so do they like us or not." Van rambled.

"Ok calm down Van I'll introduce us." Calmo said trying to calm down Van

Calmo got off the carriage and went to the crowd that had formed because of Van's rambling.

"Hello everyone I Am Calmo Mortalthorn apart of Lension's exploration team. We do not come here for war. We come for peace with your civilization." Calmo said to the growing crowd.

After Calmo said that, the crowd murmured to themselves until one stepped forward.

"I'm Chlorontem the humble leader of this small village, and we'd be happy to help you on your mission of peace with the kindom of Yurpid" Chlorontem said to Calmo.

"If we help with peace shall you let us out of Labyrinth Forest?" Calmo asked.

"Yes we shall." Chlorontem said.

After a brief talk Calmo went back to the team. "Welcome back did it go well. Please tell me it went well cause if it didn't we are pretty much fu-" Van rambled until Calmo inturpted.

"Yes we're good but we have to do something for them." Calmo explained.

"So what do we have to do?" Flam asked.

"We have to make peace between Lension and Yurpid." Calmo explained.

The team sit in stunned silence at Calmo's plan to make peace with countries.

They weren't diplomats. They were explorers. They were screwed.
