"Look guys it's the only way to get through." Calmo said defending herself.
"Well now it is our only way. So what's your plan now?" Flam said angered at Calmo's hasty plan to make peace.
"I know I was hasty but I think we can do it." Calmo said enthusiastically.
"Could we ask for a place to stay? " Grebito said.
"It's midday but we could." Calmo said.
After another chat with Chlorontem Calmo and the team had a house built for them.
While the team was waiting for their house they heard a bell ringing.
"The gnawers are coming" someone yelled.
"What's a gnawer is it an evil beast. Do we go and help them or not. Could we beat whatever a gnawer is." Van rambled
Calmo without a second pulled out her sword and shield and headed to the battle. Flam and Helistin followed Calmo while Grebito stayed with Van but sent Mosquito with the rest.
When they reached the fight they saw what the druid's called the gnawer. A dog like creature with no face it's entire head was a mouth and the tongue ended as a hand.
The gnawer was attacking the druid's before attacking Calmo. The Gnawer tried to bite Calmo but Calmo sliced at the tongue causing it to retract. Flam then fired an arrow at the gnawer hitting it in the gut. The gnawer winced in pain before grabbing the arrow with it's tongue. Snapping the arrow in half then leaving into the forest.
"The humans hurt the gnawer!" A druid yelled out.
"I just shot it nothing special." Flam said confused at the druid's words.
"But no one had ever hurt the gnawer before. It has resisted our magic." The druid said.
"Well I didn't use magic I used A bow." Flam said still confused.
After the fight the team headed back home with Grebito and Van.
"Hey what happened with Van?" Flam said looking at Grebito comforting Van.
"Panic attack I think." Grebito said letting Mosquito onto her shoulder.
The team just let him be.
After the base was built it was time to sleep.
"Well who will keep watch?" Helistin asked "I guess it's my turn." Calmo said.
Well they went to bed and Calmo was awake. After a couple of hours Calmo heard something.
"Well well Calmo Mortalthorn." A voice said.
Calmo quickly jumped up and looked around for the origin of the voice.
"Whos there." Calmo said looking around.
"Did Flamtom Marenta really not tell you who I am." The voice said back.
The voice then came into Calmo's view and introduced them selves.
"I'm Yton Lvide The Dealmaker.".
