Night Roamers

Introduction

    I would do anything to protect my kingdom with my very life. The well-being of my people is far more important than my life. I would fortify the walls of my castle. Rise to power for my Kingdom. Rule the people with justice. Make many fluttering allies. Attack the enemies of my world. Be triumphant among the failures of my foes. Pull through the tough times. Outwit my opponents. My duty as a Princess serves me responsible for my kingdom. If only this were true.

    My name is Hermione Amastor. I may only be fifteen but I have big plans for my future. I long for adventure, as I have been cooped up in a castle most of my life. I am one of many princesses. Specifically one of five princesses. To be more precise I'm one of eight children. It gets a little hectic with all the kids.

    My mom had only died when I was six. It has been hard on my father. He doesn't talk to me much anymore. At least not as much as he used to. Not even a year after her death he married my step-mother. Their marriage drew us apart even more. The woman absolutely hates me. Well, I can't really complain, she did bring my favorite sibling into this world. I have a half-brother and sister as well as a stepsister because of her. My stepmother was a queen from another kingdom, though I don't know the name. But now she is the queen of my kingdom. She doesn't deserve that title.

    Honestly, my stepmother is the only person I've seen or even met outside of my kingdom. Let me explain more, the kingdom I live in is called Giopis. It has neighboring kingdoms but there's nothing that really comes in or out of Giopis. It always bothered me that there's a lot I haven't seen. I'll break down the formation of the kingdom. In the year 1358, Giopis was founded. It's currently the year 1479. To my knowledge, Giopis is structured in four circles. The first being the castle, located in the center. As the towns move outward the class decreases. Eastfox, the next town, is first class. Personally, I have only been to Eastfox. Full of knights and nobles, plenty of riches to go around. Redwoods is the second-class town. Following Redwoods is LaxusHills, the third-class town. I wish I knew more, but that's all I know. 

    Moving into the castle of Giopis, furthermore called Alicetin Palace. The palace is huge! The architecture of the castle is simply astounding. As such there are five wings in total north, east, south, west, and center wing. My room is located on the north wing. Half of my siblings share the wing with me. My other siblings share the south wing. Then the servants take the east wing. West goes to any guests. Thus leaving the center wing, which is reserved for my father and stepmother. Within the castle are many rooms, corridors, halls, etc. Particularly three-hundred-forty-seven bedrooms in all, fifty-two bathrooms, twenty-three common rooms, thirteen kitchens, including pantries, six ballrooms, four offices, two libraries, and one grand hall, just to name a few.

    But I had no idea what was coming for me in my future. Something terrifying awaited my arrival. I wish it had turned out differently...
