PROLOGUE
MELODY ALONZO was living the normal life. A student by day, a part-timer by night. Until two months ago, on the night of her sixteenth birthday, she faced a dreading situation where her life was put at stake.
Thing is, she managed to stay alive ... after doing something she never thought she was possible of doing.
For the past two months, she tried her hardest to live the normal life she has always knew. Back to the same routine, she struggled to hide the 'monster' she just discovered within her.
But then, as they say, what you resist, persists.
Her life suddenly turned upside down.
Now, she had to face a different world, in a whole new and different perspective. She had to leave everything behind and gather herself to face a new life ahead of her.
In a school located beyond the woods, her new life starts as she unravels the pieces of her identity and discovers that the supposed 'monster' within her was in fact, a gift.

Author's Note:
This is the third second I am writing this story. First, I messed up with the plot sequence. Second, I messed up with the plot (again!). Now, I planned it ahead and composed a much more concrete structure. For those who happened to read the first two (unfinished) versions, you may find some of the original characters still in place.
I am hoping to pull this off in a much, better way. For those who will spare this story an amount of their time, thank you very much.
