" Y/N! " A voice shouted, rather enthusiastically at that.. Stirring from your slumber, you turned your gaze to your door, which was now beginning to creak open as light began to seep into your dark room. " It's Christmas, come on, don't you wanna celebrate? We're still waiting on you! " Your brother called out, the end of his sentence turning into a sing-song voice. Rolling your eyes, you flopped your head back onto your pillow. You were too tired for this... a silence filled the room, the sound of people chattering downstairs reached your ears. Closing your eyes, you tried to sleep before.. a laugh rang out. " You really think.. I'm.. gonna let you SLEEP? " Your brother burst out into laughter again, walking over to your bed before grabbing you by the back of your pyjamas. You let out a tired groan before your brother walked out of your gloomy bedroom, out into the hallway. Squinting your eyes, you immediately came to realisation it was bright. Almost blinding. Letting your eyes focus, you gazed around the space you both landed yourself in. You were in the hall, of course. Decorations were littered around the spot, it made it look more cozy. " Here ya go! " Your brother lifted you up, placing you back down slowly on your own feet. Yawning, you rubbed your eyes as you stared at the bright surroundings. You turned your gaze to the staircase you saw countless times, and of course.. it's still there in the present. Haha, Christmas joke.. " I'll let you come down when you're ready, sib. Just.. don't go back to sleep or I will drag you down to the others myself.. " Your sibling pointed at you near the end of his sentence, his tone turning more serious before smiling. " Remember, Take your time Y/N. " your brother sighed before speed walking down the stairs. For a moment, you stood there with a poker face. You've been drowning yourself in homework and studies you didn't notice it was Christmas. Oh well.. you turned to the staircase and began travelling down, looking around out of boredom. Family pictures laid around, including a few photos of your mom and dad, or grandparents. However, most of them had you and your family in them, looking closely, you could see your brother and you in one, there was probably more, but you didn't have much time to look around.. well, you did but.. nevermind. Landing at the bottom of the staircase, focusing, you realised the sound of talking was louder, coming from nearby. Turning towards the living room entrance, you slowly and steadily made your way to the rest, before your vision turned white.

You were snapped out of your thoughts as you stared at your screen, the sounds of a video game being played rang throughout your room alongside the background music in said game. You blinked before smiling at your Nintendo Switch screen, you were currently fighting a boss. You were playing OMORI if you were wondering, tho I think that's obvious. You killed off the boss, SWEETHEART with a smile. Glancing at your alarm clock, you were immediately shocked and disappointed that it was rather early. Of course, it wasn't unusual for you to stay up late (Mostly so you can sleep longer and keep being ignorant of your reality, similar to a certain character) since you often played OMORI when you were bored, but you think you.. A growl could be heard as you looked towards your stomach, you haven't eaten in awhile since you often forgot, but you still felt nauseous at the thought of eating something. You frowned, you're practically watching your life falling apart with a poker face, not that you were any different from many.. You just mentally shrugged and placed down your Nintendo Switch, only noticing now how dark your room is. It made the space more miserable than it actually is. Getting up slowly, you glanced around before actually moving your body towards your room's door, your hand hovering over the handle for a second before you finally opened it. Looking out into the dark halls, you let your thoughts go haywire for a moment. You don't know what your doing, but you decided to get your Nintendo Switch's charger since your battery was running low.
