#1 Meeting

"Huf, huff, huff" The sound of panting was heard in the master diluc rooms. Once again, he got nightmares. It's always about his childhood friend, venti.

The nightmares is constantly bothering him and making him feel guilty. They both were friends back then but he cuts off all ties with venti.

Diluc thought that there is no way that him and venti could be friends again...or lovers. Diluc seems to be conscious now and not panic anymore.

He saw the clock and it says "6.30 P.M". Diluc went up and take a shower. He then put on his bartender outfit as usual and he walks to mondstadt.

It was a cold night, the sound of birds singing is a blessing for diluc in the lonely road. "Venti! Ugh, don't bother to fix the lyre anymore." A person..calling out venti's name was heard in diluc's ear.

"Ehe, im sorry" And with the classic 'ehe'. 'It mustve been venti.' Diluc thought, he then ran to the direction where the sound is. There it is. Venti, with the traveler.

"V-Venti...do you still remember me?" Diluc asks.

"Oh...master..diluc, am i right?"

"Yes."

'At least venti still remembers my name.' Diluc thought.

"We were childhood friends, venti."

"W-WHAT!?"

"Yes. But i cut off all ties with you. Im sorry, you must've forgotten that."

"I dont recall you as my childhood friends...but if you want to be my friends, im in!"

Diluc was dissapointed. Venti didn't remembered that he is his childhood friends. Well at least now they're friends again.

"If were friends then the wine?"

"Yes. I'll pay all of the wine you drank."

"Thank you master diluc!"

"Don't be so formal. Just call me diluc."

"U-Uhm..okay m-diluc"

Venti doesn't know what made his heart pound when diluc say to not be formal with him. Aether wo watches them know what will happen in the future. Probably becomes lovers.

Aether who doesn't want to bother them, walk away, slowly and he made no sound, at all.

"Diluc...should we walk to the bar together..?"

"Yes. We should, it's dangerous, especially for a bard like you."

"How do you know that im a bard?" Venti asks as they walk together.

"Like i said. We were childhood friends, i recall that you once wanted to be a bard like your father when you became an adult."

"Oh..well okay! Do you want me to sing you something along the way?"

"Sure."

The sound of a beautiful bard singing his favorite song make diluc's heart melted. His angelic voice that makes diluc forgotten all of his bad memory.

"How do you know what is my favorite song?"

"Like you said. We were childhood friends, tho i can only remembers your favorite song. We are def childhood friends!"

"Glad to hear that."

Diluc's calm voice isn't the feeling he felt. His heart pounding when venti said he consider him to be his childhood friends. But deep down inside, he wanted more.

They both walk together until they reached the gate for entering mondstadt city. Unfortunately, venti has changed mind and he wanted to part ways with diluc.

It seems that venti forgots a meeting at liyue with a fellow friend, zhongli.

"Uhm..diluc, it seems that i have forgotten a meeting with a fellow friend, zhongli from liyue."

"Oh..well then, see you later."

They both parted ways, venti using his elemental skill fly's towards liyue. Diluc, who felt awful because venti wouldn't come to the bar. He then proceed his night like a normal night, except with a dissapointment feeling still stuck on his chest.

Venti, who just reached liyue's gate was unwelcomed by the millelith. And that's where zhongli come in clutch.

"Dear millelith. It seems that this foreigner is my friend. Could you please welcome him?" Zhongli asks.

"Okay. But remember, do not cause any ruckus or problem."

"Well then. Let's go venti."

"O-Okay!"

Venti follows zhongli into his building and room.

"So, what do you wanna talk about zhongli?"

"I...have a crush on someone. But it seems that i have no particular way to chase them. Can you help me?"

"Woah, who could've thought that zhongli would fall in love with someone?" Venti teases zhongli.

"Oh c'mon venti."

"Well then, since i am purposely a love archon, i'll help."

" 'love archon' ? Seriously venti."

"Yeah yeah. But first you need to tell me. Who is that person your talking about li?"

"It's a fatui member...tartaglia, or code name : childe."

"Wow. Okay, this seems interesting haha, do you know any of his liking?"

"Tartaglia seems to like 'ice fishing' if im not wrong."

"That's a weird hobby your loved one got there, meh. Maybe sometimes you should ask him out on a date and do the things you both like. Wait, do you even like ice fishing?"

"Yes."

"Oh, that's perfect! You should ask him out on a date which constantly doing things you both like, ice fishing, eating, watching opera. That seems like a great thing to do right?"

"Yes."

"After you both got closed and he felt he could warm up to you, wait. Don't confess yet. Make him feel like he's inlove with you or safe with you. After that, confess."

"Well, thank you venti."

"No problem, but this information needs a payment don't you think?"

"How much mora it'll cost?"

"How about 100,000 mora?"

"Let me take out my wallet first."

"Well then."

After zhongli gives venti the mora, venti say bye and he left liyue. 'Wow, it's already 12:00 P.M? Time flies rather quickly eh' he then use his elemental skill again and flies to mondstadt.

It was a tiring day, now he gotta sleep on the barn again. How convinient. He enters mondstadt, and he bumped into a red hair, diluc.

"Ah, s-"

"Venti?"

"Diluc?"

"Uhm..im going to sleep..sorry for bumping into you."

"No it's okay, where is your house again?"

"Im homeless, im going to sleep in the barn."

"No way. Your going with me to the dawn winery, sleep there as much as you can. You can even live there if you want."

"HUH!? REALLY?"

"Yes, but don't sleep on the barn ever again, okay?"

"Okay!"
