(me and my bff made this story yall and she didnt want me to @ her cuz this story is on crack and i do not blame her at all but anyway i apologize in advance. also everyone in this story is 18. enjoy 🙂)I glance around at the small village I had stumbled into. Everyone in this village is always so friendly. Everyone except for one boy. My nemesis. Camilo Madrigal.
As far as I can remember, Camilo had always bullied me. And it was entirely for no reason at all. He was nice to everyone else though. But, that's all in the past. At least I can remember making friends growing up here, like his cousin, Maribel.
In fact, that's who I came to visit today. I head toward the Madrigal's house with a basket of goodies to share with the family. It's been so many years since I'd last seen them. How old is everyone now? I guess both Maribel and Camilo are 18 by now. Time flies!
I arrive at the front door of the house and was about to knock, but before I can, the doors instantly fly open, revealing a warm welcome from the Madrigal family.
Everyone comes, swarming around me. "Y/n, how are you hermosa," Alma says as she wraps her arms around me and kisses my face. I call Alma Abuela though, because she treats me like family. Luisa swoops me up with one arm and gives me a warm embrace. " It's been years since I've seen you and Maribel hang out," she says as she crushes the life out of me.
"Cough y-yeah chokes," I struggle to say. She then drops me, and everyone continues to welcome me.
After everyone settles down, I go to the dining room table to rest my basket of goodies. Hm, I haven't seen Maribel yet, I think to myself. I turn around to walk back out and I see Maribel standing in the doorway. “Oh, hey Maribel.” I greet, giving her a hug. She doesn’t return it though.
“Maribel?”
“What are you doing here?” She asks rather rudely.
“Um, to hang out?” I reply, confusion lacing my voice.
“I don’t want to hang out with you.” She sneers.
It was when she said that I realize… “Hey Camilo.” I groan, rolling my eyes.
“Damn.” He says, turning back to himself. “Am I that obvious?”
“Kinda, yeah. Maribel wouldn’t talk to me that way. Ever.”
"Eh, worth a shot," he smirks. I roll my eyes once again.
“Screw you. Where is she?”
“Hell if I know. Try her room upstairs, retard.”
“Oh yeah, why didn’t I think of that?” I reply sarcastically. I shove past him and rush to Maribel's room.
I slowly push open her door to greet her, but she was fast asleep. I thought she'd be awake to see her best friend. Huh, oh well. I quietly shut the door and ponder on what to do next. Hm, well since I can't hang out with Maribel for the time being, I guess I should head on down to the river.
I walk down stairs and make my way towards the exit, only to find Camilo leaning against the door frame. Ugh.
"Hey ugly~," he winks and blows a kiss. I gag. "Move it, I'm heading to the river." Once again, I try to shove him out the way, only for me to lose my footing and cause the both of us to land on the ground.
I am on top of him. Huh. Wait. I am on top of him wtf! I unknowingly stare at him for a few seconds, clearly flustered by the sudden fall. He remains unfazed. "Soo… you just gonna stare or are you gonna get your fat ass off of me," he says to me in a flat tone.
