02 | Mysterious Boy

It's the second day of school and you are alone lining up at the cafeteria. Jiwoo have to attend a meeting of the student council, she said they need to elect another member from the freshmen. Of course she have to be there, she's the President.

After staying in the line of students for 10 minutes, it's finally your turn. You grabbed a tray and let the diner lady put some food on it. You thanked her and try to find an empty table but you can't find one. Even the table you sat on yesterday was taken. There are empty chairs beside some students but you don't know any of them and you're kind of hesitant to join them.

It's the chemistry teacher's fault! He didn't dismiss you on time!

You guess you'll just have to eat outside. You made your way out of the cafeteria. Jiwoo is the only friend you have here so far, so guess you have no one to eat with today.

You made your way to your building's rooftop and there is no one in there as you expected. You are sure most of the students are in the cafeteria right now.

You got one of the old arm chair from the piled up furnitures in the corner and sat on it.

Looks like the rooftop isn't that bad at all for you to have your meal. It's actually nice up here. It's quiet and you can eat in peace without all that noise in the cafeteria.

It took you 10 minutes or more to finish your lunch but you decided to stay longer since there's still 20 minutes left for lunchbreak. You have nothing else to do anyway.

You stood at the edge of the rooftop and look at the other buildings. You layed your eyes on the biggest building of this school. Your eyes landed at the top of it and it makes you wonder.

Why did Jiwoo said you can't go there? You know it wasn't because you'll be late in class yesterday. It doesn't look dangerous or weird though. What could be the reason? Now you're getting more curious.

Wait... Is that a boy?

You squinted your eyes to have a clearer vision since it's a little far.

You're right! There's a boy standing at the edge of that building! He's wearing a grey hoodie, the hood is hiding most of his face and it looks like he's wearing a school uniform under it. So, that means there are students who go there? So it's safe then?

The school bell rang pulling you out of your thoughts. Lunchbreak is over. I get the tray from the armchair and walk to the door heading downstairs. Before going down you took a last glance at that rooftop, only to see it empty.

The boy is gone. Maybe, he already went down since it's time for students to go back to their classrooms.

You looked at the watch on your wrist and looked at the time. It's 5:05 pm and the class is dismissed five minutes ago. Jiwoo is still not here but your teacher needs to close the classroom so you got Jiwoo's bag with you.

Should you wait for Jiwoo here? Or should you go to the Student Council's room and wait for her there?

You guess you should go there since It looks like your the only one left on this floor.

You marched to the building where it was and reach the Student Council's room. You waited for Jiwoo outside and looked at the view from the third floor where you are standing. You can see the whole school from here. You can even see the rooftop of the four smaller buildings in front since this building is a little bit higher than those buildings.
