The Marauders Goblet Of Fire (on hold)

Confundus

James, Sirius and Peter return to their common room, after the meal, whereas Remus headed to the Library.

The books were stacked and stacked on the shelves, the most dusted ones were at the top. Remus frantically looked far and wide for anything to do with the tri-wizard tornament.

"Hey!" Shouts a young witch, jumping Remus out of his skin.

"Oh hey Marlene." They embrace each other as friends, Marlene McKinnon was close friends with the marauders.

"What you doing?" She asks confused.

"Errrm." He panics

"Come onnnn you can tell me." She says.

He drags her over to another ally where no one was around.

"Im looking for a book about the tri-wizard cup and the goblet of fire." He whispers.

"Wow really!" She shouts with excitment

Remus clamps his hand over her mouth, "shuuuush!"

"okay okay sorry, well i must say Remus you must be searching in the wrong place." She says.

"What do you mean?" He asks confused.

She looks over at a sign in the far right.

Restricted section

"No." He immediatly says.

"Oh Remus stop it, you know they would keep something like that in there."

"Well, well i cant just break in." He says

"Sure you can." She smirks walking over to the door. "Alohomora." She whispers and walks in the restricted section.

"Marlene are you crazy!" He says.

"Shut up and get in here." She says dragging him through the door.

Meanwhile in the common room, James was pacing around excited and impatient.

"Wheres Remus!" He says.

"He will be coming soon!" Says Peter. "Something like this doesn't just pop out in plain site."

"We do have till thursday night, gives us 3 days." Says Sirius, leaning back on a chair.

"Has anyone saw Marlene, by the way, i didn't see her in the great hall." Says James.

"Probably because you were two busy drooling over Lily." Smirks Sirius.

"Shut up Padfoot, at least i wasn't drooling over the 10 ft giant women." Teases James.

"I wasnt! I wasnt!" Sirius starts to shout, "Where's Lily then, hey?" He smirks.

James gives him a death stare, but laughs it off. The door of the common room swing open, Remus and Marlene walk in carrying a gigantic book, they throw it on the table and blow the dust off the top.

"How did you get this." Asks Sirius,

"Well i may have a particularly roomy bag." Smirks Marlene, she wonders round to give all the boys a hug and Remus turns the pages over with a thump.

Contract of the goblet

"Here, it clearly states, if the goblet ever spits more than three names they all still have to compete, the goblets decision is final." Says Remus

"Does it say how to hack into it?"

"Errm let me look." Remus scans his finger down the page. "Ah, only an extremely magical confuduus charm can unlink the goblet to spit out the champions of your choice."

"And how the hell do we do that." Says Sirius.

"By ourselves, its impossible, together its not." Says James

"This is no time to speak in riddles, James!" Say Sirius

"Hes not!" Says Peter "What he means is that doing the Confundus charm together at the same time, would be powerful enough to un link the cup."

"Exactly!" Says Remus, "Well lets go then."

"Can we go tomorrow, I'm tired!" Moans Sirius

"No, its late less people will be there now." Says Remus.

"Come on." Says Peter

They run down the halls like giddy school boys, buying a big bag of sweets.
They come to a gigantic door. James peeks inside.

"Empty, come on."

All four sneak inside and close the door behind them. Tightly holding their piece of parchment, they approach the magnificent goblet.

they slowly drop the parchment into the blue flame and all circle the goblet.

"3, 2, 1, CONFUNDUS!" They all scream, creating four humungous golden jets that crashed against the goblet.

The goblet shimmered shooting out golden flames. All four boys thought of their names shooting out of the cup and their thoughts emerged into the flames.

The flames suddenly went out they went back to blue flame.

"Did it work?" Asks James

"I guess we will have to wait and see." Says Remus.

The four boys scuttle out of the room back to the common room, however they never noticed Severus Snape lurking in the shadows.
