I jolted up. I was in shock. There was no way that he was here
I wiped my eyes as if it was a dream. Wondering if my thoughts from the morning had carried on into my dream.
I looked back over to the green eyed boy with flawless skin laying carelessly on my bed. My hand slowly slid over the sheets of the warm bed to his face. As my hand slowly stroking his soft cheek, his hand covered mine.
"Cameron" I slightly spoke
"Its me Alyssa, im here" He said engulfing my hand into his as he brought the back of it up to his plump pink lips laying a sweet gentle kiss on it
I had no words to describe what I am feeling. I have missed him, but I love Peyton and Peyton is my everything now. But when I woke up to Cameron saying that ive missed his touch I couldn't deny it because it was true. All of my old feelings came flooding back to me and I didnt know what to do. I felt highly overwhelmed with it. All my body thought to do was cry.
" No Alyssa dont cry" Cameron said comforting me and pulling me closer to him laying me on my side, putting us face to face.
All that felt right was to cry into Camerons warm arms. Hearing the sound of his voice calming me down made be stop crying.
Without speaking a word I got up out of my bed and went to find my parents. I heard footsteps following me as I entered the kitchen where my parents were
talking to each other but suddenly stop when they see my red eyes still full of tears.
"Oh honey did you miss us that much that you are crying" Said my completely naive mother
I rolled my eyes and turned around and pointed at Cameron as he entered the kitchen.
"Oh I see your over joyed to see your boyfriend not us" My father said in a joking tone that kinda annoyed me
"hes not ...." I caught myself before I completely made things awkward.
"I mean yeah dad it was a great surprise I couldn't be happier" I said a little unsure to what I had spoke. Could I be happier ? Am I happier with Peyton than I was with Cameron. ?
I felt Camerons hands slide around my waist as he turned me around and planted his lips onto mine.
"okay I think we will leave you two alone" said my mom pulling my dad by the sleeve out of the kitchen.
I didn't deny the kiss. I kinda enjoyed it.
When we pulled out of the kiss I flashed Cameron a smile.
"I think we need to catch up ?" I said walking over to the counter top to grab a banana considering that was all I would be able to keep down.
I hopped onto the counter top and sat down with my short legs dangling off the side.
"yes we do" Said Cameron as he released a deep chuckle
"So how are things back at home? " I said as I took a bite of my banana.
"things are okay. But since you left......"
I heard Cameron getting a little choked up when he said since I left. He moved over to the stool that was at the other end of the counter top.
"...Since you left no one has been the same. Erika is different. she got caught doing drugs in the school bathroom"
I felt a tear run down my cheek as I turned my head to wipe it away hoping he didn't see it.
"And as for me... well I haven't been the same neither. When you left the brightness of my day left with you. The reason for me to come to school everyday was gone .My grades have been slipping and I got kicked off the football team. My scholarships are gone no one is going to look twice at me. Alyssa you were my rock and when you left I lost you I lost everything. " I could see tears starting to form in his beautiful green eyes. The tears started to stream down his cheeks.
I reached my hand out to his face wiping away the tears.
"im here now." I said
He took a sigh of relief as he got up and walked over to me. He positioned his body so that each of my legs were on either side of him. My eyes easily being able to look straight into his green ones. He leaned into me until our lips crashed against one another's. There was no question I had missed this . But in that moment I realized that Peyton was going to come over after school which had ended 10 minutes ago. I released from the kiss hopping off the counter and darting out of the kitchen. But I was too late . There I heard the struggle of someone trying to unlock the door.
