When Bakugo was calmed down by the other hero's on staff for being called a guard dog, he stomped away angrily.
However, right before the blonde had reached the door he heard the one sentence he was dreading all day.
"Bakugo. Where are your jeans?" the blonde man asked, as he put down his teacup gently and looked over at the boy who was looking desperate to get away, though he wasn't showing it on his face.
The blonde shrugged, reaching up to ruffle his hair out of habit, then remembered he had flat hair. Except just by remembering that, he yelled angrily and his hair puffed back up.
"Your magical!" Y/n yelled happily, and clapped for the now puffed up and spiky hair.
The blonde grunted and glared at his mentor before stomping away into his respected room.
Y/n could hear best jeanist sigh, then she caught a glimpse of him pinching the bridge of his nose.
he signaled his assistants to grab another pair of jeans and force bakugo into them, even if it meant that their hair would be singed off.
And after that, Jeanist left Y/n to her own devices.
literally.
The young girl was so preoccupied with her ipad that she had forgotten where she was. By the time she heard a voice, she looked up and realized that the sun was on the verge of going down.
She heard some blond stomping, and Bakugo grabbed her Ipad yelling at her that her eyes would fall out of her head.
Her only comment was an angry, "let. it. go."
Needless to say, when Best Jeanist had came back from a mission and there was snow and slush, as well as dark charcoal on the ice, he knew that something happened between the two of them.
They were still fighting though, so the blonde hero took this opportunity to politely greet the other hero's and assistants in his office.
"STOP THROWING SNOWBALLS AT ME!!!"
"LET MY IPAD GO THEN!!!"
"NO YOU DAMN KID!"
"GIVE IT BACK BLONDIE!"
"THEN STOP THROWING ICE AT ME!"
"no."
The two kept bickering back and forth until Y/n threw a snowball straight at Bakugo's face, which resulted in her getting thrown back by a explosion. She had luckily landed in a patch of stray snow, but she was tired out and decided she wasn't gonna make more ice.
Then it struck her.
Had this been her first time controlling her quirk for real? The author of this story didn't know the answer either.
Completely elated with joy, Y/n didn't stop to think about the fact that she lost and didn't get her iPad back. Instead she ran over to the now worn out hero in training, jumping around excitedly and yelling something about her quirk.
Bakugo couldn't catch much about what she said however, because his ears were still ringing a little.
Y/n could sense the fact that the blonde wasn't listening to her.
"You okay?" She asked questioningly, and the blonde nodded figuring out some part of what she was saying. He could partially read lips, but he didn't bother to much try and figure it out much.
The young girl nodded at his simple answer, and patted his spiky hair.
The blonde let out a yell and a explosion and started to chase the little girl around the downstairs of the agency, but spotted the hero he was interning with, standing in there.
"I see you had a lot of fun while I was on a mission." Best Jeanist said, as he raised an eyebrow at the blonde boy in front of him.
Bakugo wasn't a dumb kid. He knew it himself too. So seeing the smirking look on his mentor's face made him scoff and walk away, ignoring the little girl who was looking at the figure slowly disappearing down the hall.
"sorry for making your house all covered in snow Best Jeanist sir." Y/n said finally, as she turned over to the blonde hero.
She bowed politely, and felt a pat on her head. When she looked up she was met with the comforting look of the blonde.
"its okay Y/n. next time, play with the snow outside, okay?" and the hero grabbed the little girl into a light hug. Then he stepped back and nodded professionally at the girl, completely changing back to his usual serious aura.
While Bakugo was sulking in his room, the young girl walked over to the kitchen in search of some food. while she was there however, she came in contact with a few of the other assistants there.
"Hello Y/n, you like it here so far?" One of them said, as they ran a finger through their perfect hair.
The young girl nodded quickly, and her answer seemed to satisfy the small time hero's because they gave her a small smile.
A few of them were actually planning to flatten her hair, but they changed their mind last minute and decided to take in the cuteness that the girl radiated.
"Why do you guys like jeans so much?" She asked questioningly, and the hero's shrugged before looking down at the cuffs of their jeans.
"Why do you guys like flat hair so much?" She asked again, and the hero's were getting annoyed at this point.
One of the hero's walked over to the young girl and flattened her hair down with his palm.
She giggled.
"See. Fun." He said, and he walked away to get a glass of water, leaving the young girl annoyed.
Needless to say, when Bakugo had finally walked out of the room he was met with more piles so snow and a frozen looking land.
Feeling a buzz in his Jean pocket, he opened up the message seeing them from his class group chat that he was added in.
Typing angrily, "STOP ADDING ME"
He was met with a simple, "no. now send pictures of Y/n."
Growling at his phone, he snapped a quick blurry picture of her throwing snowballs at people, sent it and left.
