Chapter 9: Buckbeak's Execution

The Quartret decided to visit Hagrid, as he was sadly skipping stones in the Black Lake, they all discussed Buckbeak.

"How'd it Go Hagrid? The Hearing?" Asked Hermione

"I told em that Buckbeak was a Good Hippogriff, always kept his feathers clean, but the committee wouldn't listen to ma part of the story. I told em that if yeh treated Buckbeak right, he'll do teh same. Then Lucius Malfoy got up an' said that Buckbeak was a deadly dangerous beast that no teacher in their righ' mind would expose their students to.." Hagrid slowly said

"It's not your fault Hagrid, don't blame yourself." Said Alaina

"Draco's the one the committee should punish, send him to the woods, not buckbeak!" Said Ron

"Buckbeak's not goin to teh woods." Muttered Hagrid

"Then where is he going?" Asked Hermione

"Buckbeak's been sentenced teh death." Said Hagrid sadly

The Quartet gasped in horror

"That's Horrible!" Said Alaina

Hagrid nodded.

Later at Night, Harry was still investigating the Marauders Map, and it still had the names of everyone.

"So this is what the Marauders Map looks like." Alaina Gaped

"Yeah, I used to think it was Rubbish that Fred and George came up with, but it turns out it was pretty useful." Said Harry

"You'll never truly know what those two are up to." Alaina snarked

"Wait, This Map has the names of everyone around us, right?" Alaina asked

"Yeah." Said Harry

"Is Sirius Black's name on the map?" Asked Alaina

Harry searched the map for Sirius's Name, but it was nowhere to be spotted

"I can't see his name anywhere." Said Harry

"Well, We have to find his name here somewhere, he's on his way to kill you and Ron and.. I think he might be the reason why Claire is missing." Said Alaina

"What? Alaina that's ridiculous! Why would Sirius Black want to kidnap someone? He's supposed to be a killer, not a kidnapper! Well, at least if I think he's just a killer." Said Harry

"Well, we never know for sure." Said Alaina

As they walked through the Halls of the Castle, Alaina cast Lumos and walked alongside Harry as he kept the map open.

They eventually came beside a man in a painting.

"Hey! Turn that Off! I'm Trying to sleep!" Said The Man

"Sorry." Alaina muttered

Alaina cast The Nox Spell and the light defused.

As the Two kept walking, Alaina was about to cast Lumos again, Only for Snape to catch them in the act.

"Mischief Managed!" Said Harry

The Map immediately closed

"Potter, Harvester, What are you two doing?" Asked Snape, suspicious

"We were Sleepwalking." Said Harry

"How extraordinarily you are like your Father Potter, He too was exceedingly arrogant, strutting about the castle." Snape Snarled

"My dad didn't strut, and nor do I, now If you don't mind, I would appreciate it if you could lower your wand." Harry Snarked

Snape slightly lowered his wand.
