"NEIL WHAT THE FUCK!"
Nuwanda yelled out in rage as he turned towards me and stood up from his seat. Grasping the back of his neck to cool down the giant, red hand print now making its presence known. Fuck, what do I say.
"I'm so sorry Charlie, there was uh, a black widow, yeah, o-on the back of your neck." I muttered with only half certainty. It was the best excuse I could give at the moment. For wanting to be an actor, I could not for the life of me, lie well under pressure.
"Like SHIT there was a spider there!" Nuwanda vocalized his disapproval of my bullshit excuse.
"No, I promise, there was actually a spider there." I insisted while I began to look around to find some kind of way to back up my lies.
"Yeah, look right there Charlie," Todd saw me struggling so he backed me up and pointed to a black speck on the ground, "See, the dead smooshed carcass is right there, Neil isn't lying." Nuwanda calmed down from his anger and bent down on the floor to confirm that it's a dead body. He kept on squinting his eyes and decided to give up and accept that it was indeed a spider.
"Neil, your so fucking lucky that I could care less right now." still caressing his neck, Nuwanda finally professed his stance on the situation."I just want to go bed." His voice began to get a bit shaky and he decided to walk away.
"I'll go check up on him." Cameron muttered out, ending with a loud sigh. I'm still shocked from what I did so I decided to go to my dorm.
"Neil, wait up." Todd's words faded away as I began to quickly pick up my walking pace to almost a run. I'm embarrassed.

I quickly got undressed and the second my face hit my pillow, I had fallen into a deep slumber. It's bad enough that I lied and hit my friend to avoid my fears but Todd also helping me to lie is what made me feel even more humiliated. That night my dreams or should I say nightmares were filled with Todd and a mysterious girl holding hands. They were looking into each other's eyes filled with love. Craving each other's affection. All I could do at that moment was watch. I couldn't move, I couldn't speak, I could only observe in pain. My heart felt like it was going to explode. Todd and the girl began to lean in as they were about to kiss. At that very moment I had woken up to my alarm clock ringing. Drenched in sweat and panting. I had slept all night and now it's time to get ready for class.
When I took a peek at Todd's side of the room he was already gone. Just him being his usual self. I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish Todd would be there when I woke up. As I proceeded to get ready for school, I realized today I have to present my poem. I felt like my poem was perfect in every way but I'm not sure how it will be perceived by Mr. Keating or the rest of the class. I strayed from the topic a bit but it is most definitely about nature. I'm sure it's fine.

"Good morning Mr. I-slap-the-shit-out-of-my-friends Perry" jokingly said Nuwanda as I approached the table full of my friends eating breakfast.
"Dude, there was a spider, trust me," I pleaded with my hands together, "If I wanted to slap you, I would do it without an excuse." When I corrected him, I took my seat and peered at Todd who was nose deep in his notebook. I'm curious as to what is captivating him so deeply.
"Todd," My call to him completely missed him as he was still focused on his notebook. "Todd?" His head finally perked up and he glanced around to see who said his name. "Whatcha doing there Anderson?"
"Oh, um, I'm just working on the poem for Mr. Keating's class." Todd replied, closing his notebook as if the words were about to jump out of the page.
"Still!?" Nuwanda blurted out, "It took me only 30 minutes to write mine, the topic was super easy." His mouth still stuffed with half chewed food.
