Chapter 6

Carlos's POV 

Jay, Gil, Harry, Dude and I were walking through the forest and we were trying to find Ben before I shouted "Ben!, Ben!" I then stopped to sit on a rock before I said to Dude as he came over to me "Dude, come on, nothing?" "These things just grow everywhere" Gil said as he was eating some berries from a bush before he said to Jay "Hey, we should play that icebreaker, um, Jay, I like the way that you can bounce around and jump off things, these are free, right?" I then looked over as I listened in on the conversation before Jay said to Gil as he walked over to the berry bush "Yeah, um, I like how you get a kick out of a berry bush" "I guess you've probably seen everything by now, huh?, furry rocks and giant fish, you're probably used to grabbing lunch off of a bush" Gil said to Jay as he started to eat some of the berries from the berry bush before Jay said to Gil "No, I mean, no, not really, I mainly just use the vending machines at practice, you know, tourney, kind of eats up the most of my time" Harry then laughed before he said to Jay "Tourney, that's a wee boy's game" Gil then said to Jay as Jay smiled at him "Hey, you know what would be fun?, to go rafting on a jungle river" "Find a lost civilisation" Jay said to Gil before Gil said to Jay "Oh, or maybe a penguin" "Oh, well, you'll find those more in like icebergs but I'll love to see one of those" Harry then said to Gil and Jay as he walked over to them before he takes a berry off the bush and he eats it "You guys are killing me" Harry then said to me as he indicted to the direction that Dude had taken off to while I was listening in on Gil and Jay's conversation "Hmm, ps, your mutt went that way" "Carlos!" Dude yells out to me before I said to him "Dude, what do you see?" "This way" Dude said before we started to catch up to Dude.

Later on...

"Ben!" I shouted as we followed Dude before Dude said to everybody as he turned back around to face me "Boy, something stinks and it wasn't me this time" A beast then jumps out of the bushes before I said "Watch out!" I then pulled Gil away before Jay pulls Harry away and Harry said to Dude "You need some serious nose adjustments" I then said to Harry "I'm not so sure" I then said to the beast when I recognised that the beast was Ben "Ben?" Jay then said as he recognised that the beast was Ben too "Ben?, did Audrey do that?, huh, I thought that I recognised those pants" Gil then said "Oh, he's got a boo-boo, that's why he's so cranky, you know, my dad said that his dad did not handle pain well at all" Beast Ben then growls at Gil before Jay said to me "You're good with animals, do something" "But, okay, all right" I said before I walked over to Ben and I said to Ben "Hey, Ben, It's me, Carlos, all right?" Ben then growls at me before he swipes at me and I said to him "Ben!, Ben!, It's Carlos, all right?, you know me, you and Siobhan helped me once, remember, with Dude?, right?, now let me help you, come on, let me see your hand, all right, attaboy, Beast, King, whatever" Ben then holds out one of his paws to me before I looked at the twig that was stuck in his paw and I said to Ben out "Oh, yeah, that's a big one, uh, I'm going to count, all right?, one, two" I then pulled the twig out as Ben roars in pain before I said to him "There it is, you did it" Jane and Siobhan then appeared out of nowhere before Jane sprays Ben with some water.

"Hey" I said to Jane and Siobhan as I rushed over to them before Jane and I both quickly said to each other "Oh, my gosh, I was so worried, you didn't show up, I didn't forget your party, I got scared that she got you too, I'm so glad you're all right" Jane and I then shared a hug before I said to Siobhan "Hey" "Hey, I'm so glad that you're alright" "Me too" We then smiled at each other before I pulled her into me and she hugged me and I hugged her back. Jay then helps Ben as he said to him "All right, you good?" "Yeah" Ben said to him before Jay said to Ben as he was helping him to sit down "Take a seat right there, okay?, there you go" Jay and Ben then laughed before Ben said to Jay "Oh, that was funky" " It was, there's-" Jay then indicted to Ben's beard and his fangs before Ben said as he felt his beard and his fangs. "Huh?, oh wow" "You need another blast" Jane said to Ben before she sprays him with some more water before Ben said to Jane since nothing was happening besides him getting wet again "Please, please stop" Jane then said as she stopped spraying Ben "Huh, It's enchanted lake water, I guess that it can only do so much" Harry then looked over at Siobhan before he said to her as he sent her a charming smile "Well, well, well, you, my little duckling are ravishing" I was about to turn protective of Siobhan when Siobhan said to Harry with a smirk on her face "Hi Harry" Harry then said to her "It's nice to see you again, Siobhan" Siobhan then looked over at me with a smirk on her face before she turned back around to face Harry as she said to him "You too, I'm surprised that you got out, what are you doing here?, did you come to try and win my heart?" Siobhan then winked at Harry and I was shocked at Siobhan flirting with Harry before Harry said to her "No, my dear, I'm on a secret mission" "Oh, what kind of a secret mission?" "It's a secret mission" "I see, you're such a charmer" "Am I now?, princess" Harry asked Siobhan as he stepped closer to her before I started to get jealous of Siobhan flirting with Harry as she said to him "Yeah, except, you forgot one detail about me" "Which is what?" Siobhan then grabbed Harry before she threw him over her head and he landed onto the ground behind her before she turned around to face Harry as she said to him "You're the man but I'm the one with the power here"
