A slight breeze flew past Law's cheeks as he pushed the fan towards his face. "Goddamn, this heat is killing me here. July weather and no air conditioning, jeez." He tilted his head back and looked at the suitcase that was behind him, the breeze of the fan landed on his chin when he did so, "I need more samples, this isn't gonna work out with the fe-"

"Doctor, it's an emergency!" Someone burst through the door and immediately began talking,  "They're riddled with gunshot wounds and a blunt force head injury, this could be fatal."

Law raised his head, "where are they located?" He asked, getting up from his seat and straightening his clothes.

"They're in room 103, many others are working on him but they're all rookies. Many people aren't here today since it is a holiday." Law shook his head, he looked back at the suitcase.

"Fuck," he whispered, "Okay, I'll go, bring me to the room."

"Yes sir," the lady walked out of the room, "follow me this way sir." Once alone, Law took two syringes from his desk and stuffed them into his pocket.

Once he arrived to the room he saw  the wounded patient. His eyes widened, "holy shit..."

"Yes sir, somehow none of his vitals were touched or even shot near, but he is bleeding out like hell, it's.. crazy sir" The nurse began to get frustrated looking at the man helplessly on the table, "how could anyone survive this?"

"Okay, get the equipment. We're gonna be here for awhile..." Law shook his head and put some nearby gloves on, he gripped the container out of anger before taking two out. It was almost time for me to go, I needed to get home quickly. But I can't rush this at all... He thought.

An hour passed by and Law was long overdue from his shift, he was the only doctor that was left that's fully certified and experienced, so who was he to leave? Law isn't evil as people make him out to be, but he does care about his own self.

"Doctor, this is the last bullet and the last bandage we need to do," the nurse wiped her head of sweat and looked back down at the bloody patient.

Thank god. Law thought, he was starting to cramp due to the constant position he's been in, it's a similar one he always is in but once it's overtime.. everything feels different to him.

"Okay, OKAY!" The nurse jumped up with joy, the other nurses looked at her, "sorry, sorry," she got up from her seat and quietly walked out embarrassed. Law shook his head and snickered.

"Phew, that was a lot," the other nurses nodded their heads as well, but slowly all started walking out one by one.

"Bye sir, good work!" One of the nurses said waving him goodbye, Law thanked them and waved back.

Now, it was just Law and the unconscious patient. He looked down at the bandaged man and studied him for awhile, "it's amazing how he survived all of these gunshot wounds in his arm and legs, and even one to his ear. Luckily it didn't damage the skull and just the ear itself..." Law was purely amazed at this man and his survival ability.

Law grabbed the patient's record and information paper, he skimmed through the page with his finger to find his race, "here it says he's African American, and... Russian?" Law looked at the patient, "he's just like me..." Law widened his eyes, "this survival ability and he's just like me, same ethnicities." He dug into his pocket for the syringes he took from his desk and looked around the room in case anyone was coming close.

There were blinds that hid the room from the outside view, but the shadows that came close to the door is what really scared Law. He quickly stuck the syringe inside of the patient sucking some of the blood out. Law then grabbed the other one and did the process over again, once he was finally done he looked around again.
