The Bond We Have

I snapped my eyes open groaning at the pain in my neck before sitting up. I cracked my neck looking around confused seeing I was at the Cullens. The last thing I remember is being bitten in the woods? How am I still alive? I rubbed my neck that was in pain after it being snapped like a twig.

I got up and cracked my knuckles feeling cold meal on my middle finger. Confused I looked down seeing a ring with a green gem and a 'L' placed on it confusing me. It wasn't big and noticeable unless you tried to look up close

Although I do wonder where it came from I'm more worried about how I'm still alive. Huffing I walked up the stairs that led to the kitchen my footsteps didn't seem to be heard. Walking upstairs I saw the entire family sat around the table making me tilt my head

"Um guys? Someone want to explain how the fuck I'm still alive?" I asked blinking at them as their head snapped to me eyes wide and mouth agape. Before I could say anything I was wrapped in a pair of arms by my very own best friend making me laugh before hugging him back.

He grabbed my face before checking my neck probably looking for the bite mark that was once there. "The bite mark...it's gone..." he said as Carlisle made his way over inspecting my neck seeing the mark was no longer there.

His eyebrows furrowed in confusion before he was pushed away by Emmett and Rosalie who pulled me into a bone crushing hug which oddly enough didn't affect me much.

I laughed pushing them away before being hugged by Alice who was bouncing around seeing I was alive then Esme who gave off the motherly love and aura and finally Edward.

Everyone tensed up seeing us just looking at each other blankly before hugging each other leaving everyone confused. "How about you not die again thanks" he said flicking my forehead as I laughed "I'll try" he nodded before everything went quiet.

"So back to my question how exactly am I alive?" I asked looking towards everyone. "I'm not exactly sure follow me" Carlisle lead us to a room that was much like the ones in the hospitals so I guess it was his home one. It had the equipment bed and everything in an actual room.

"Sit there and I'll grab everything" I nodded before hopping up on the bed and swing my feet back and forth as everyone sat around in the room. "Okay now I'm going to check your heart beat" he placed the stethoscope on my chest hearing the beat of my heart before furring his eyebrows and wrapping it back around his neck.

"Well you're heart is still beating though it no longer was a few hours ago. Look into this light and follow my finger" he pulled out something that resembled a mini flashlight before placing his finger in front of me and moving it around as I followed it with my eyes. "No sign of a concussion or anything" he placed the little light in his pocket before ruffling his hair

"Hold our your hand I want to test something" Rosalie said before grabbing a scalpel making me scared when she brought it to my arm causing me to grab her wrist worriedly surprising me and everyone else at my speed and reflexes. "W-What the hell was that!?" I yelled letting her wrist go as I began to get frantic

"Hey hey calm down we'll figure out what's happening I just need to see something I won't hurt you if what I think is true then you'll be fine and even if this back fires I won't cut you in a way that'll kill you and make you bleed out" Rosalie said as I calmed down and nodded
