scaramouche, the guy who's always been in your class (well most of the time) and weirdly takes the same train as you every morning, has been catching your eye recently, but not in a good way.
he never went on the train with his any of his mothers, except for when he was a small child. he barely ever talks to anyone on the train, yet he somehow finds himself near you alot. this has been on your mind for a while, like what if he's stalking you, or has ulterior motives-
"y/n!!" yanfei's soft voice called for you, from your front door, cutting off your train of thought.
"yes!" you replied back, while turning off the music you've been playing for that past 30 minutes.
getting up, you fixed your hair and walked towards yanfei's voice.
"what do you need?" you asked throwing away a sweet/candy wrapper you found on the floor.
"can you help me carry these grocerie bags please, they're so heavy y/nn-" yanfei whined, while dramatically dropping the bags on the ground, making a soft-thud sound.
"ugh- fine, if you quit whining, and couldn't you ask xiao??" you said, grabbing a few bags.
"of course i could, but i didn't want to disturb him, y'know how he is.." they said muttering the last bit.
"what's that supposed to mean?" a monotones voice that belonged to none other than xiao butted in, as he walked towards the small kitchen.
"um- nothing!!" yanfei replied, sweat dripping from her forehead.
"are you really that scared of him-" you leaned in and whispered, carrying the bags towards the kitchen.
you've known yanfei, ever since the start of highschool. she was apart of the school council, who's role was to keep their year in check; that included talking to most students. and she happened to cross paths with you, after you and mona sort of ran out of school..
she has always been there for you and has helped you through many things, this of course applies the other way round. you also helped her and hu tao get together as they've been crushing on each other ever since you've talked to them.
yanfei is actually terrified of xiao, sometimes you wonder why.
you asked yanfei about scaramouche, she is a law student so she must have some sort of idea right-
WRONG. [😒]
"um, just ask moana- no, wait mona about it, he's good at that stuff right??" yanfei replied as they walked out of your room in tired manner.

"wait so if i get this right, you think this so-called scaramouche, is stalking you.." mona's voice said through your phone, which is placed on your bed.
right now, you were doing your nails as you talked to your bestfriend, mona.
"well not exactly stalking you know, just like i dont know maybe he had ulterior motives-" you got cut off by a quite fit of laughter from the other side.
"hey! are you laughing at me, mona." you replied, taking your eyes off your nails, which you were currently painting black.
"i'm sorry, i didn't mean to, love. i don't think he's stalking you, babe, i think its all just coincidence, and this is coming from me." they explained.
well, mona was really into astrology and all things stars. her college course this year was of course astrology.
"oh okay, that was still really mean" you said.
"if he kidnaps me or something, you're going to be at fault, alright?" you added.
"sure.., anyways i have to go now, my roomate needs me for something i think, i love you, bye!!" she said.
"i love you too!" you replied, cutting iff the call.
well, that was sort-of helpful.
but still mona's words did not calm down your nerves. scaramouche still could be planning your murder and you would never know..
