The war is over and they have finally won. It should have been the day they celebrated but why is it that they are not happy?

Oh, yeah. It was because their lovable redhead decided to stab himself in his heart. Just so he could kill that White Shit.

They wanted to destroy that White Ash more. Torture and break that thing. How dare that thing harm their home.

It was a good thing that Eruhaben and Alver had managed to successfully cover the eyes of the children. Because if they haven't then… no they won't think of that.

Even when the war is finished, with the White ash and that lunatic of a God is dead and resealed. Cale, who is supposed to be healing, resting, and gathering his strength since he stabbed himself, is not resting and is instead working, again.

Eruhaben is feeling guilty about that. Of all the times, his age came to him, at this time. Making Cale his child come to him at his bedside just to give him that jar.

He should have just drunk it during that time, then maybe his child would not be working, worrying over him and maybe he would have been more useful as he would be more powerful not the weak one that is dying. If he is more powerful,

a flash of Cale stabbing himself in his heart appears in his mind

then, he would be able to protect his unlucky child and stop him from doing that.

Logically he knew that Cale would not do that unless it was necessary as Cale had already said that he would farm and live a peaceful life, he is someone who sticks to his words. So for him to actually do that, then that just means that he learns new information and it was necessary, bringing a sour taste to his mouth.

He hates it. He is not there when he is needed. He is not there when his child is suffering. Why would Cale not tell him? Didn't he already say that Cale could tell him things? So why?

Rosalyn is quiet, as it has been since the last battle, maybe she spoke one or two? she didn't know nor did she remember. The only thing she kept remembering is that moment when Cale stabbed himself.

It brings her despair to see the man that she respects and who is basically her sibling to do that. Rosalyn is a cold person, she doesn't trust so easily and she doesn't make friends, acquaintances yes, but actual friends no, as she doesn't know if that person will betray her.

She just became that friendly person when she had met Choi Han and through Choi Han to Cale. She is curious about the young master, so she allowed herself to get close to him. She didn't regret that as she gain new friends or family that will not betray her, ones that will not use her, ones that truly understand her and don't care about her blood and status.

She gains a home. So when she saw that scene, she thought that she would lose her home because Cale is her home and she knows she is not the only one that feels this way.

___________

Raon, On, and Hong are not stupid. They know that their guardian stabbed himself in his heart as they definitely heard what the other soldiers whispered.

When they heard that they wanted to struggle and free themselves from the two that were holding them, they knew that Cale would not want them to see that scene so they didn't.

They also knew that the adults were also worrying about them so they pretended that they didn't know what happened. They wanted to comfort everyone. This is why they do that even if they want to cry, yell, or scream as their feelings sink and make them feel cold, they don't want to lose their guardian, their savior, their home.
