Amelia's POV

The water was freezing. How I hauled myself up a service ladder and onto the street is beyond me. I also don't know how my brain figured out how to get to the hospital. All I know right now is that these blankets are really warm and there are swarms of doctors and nurses surrounding me at all times. They kept doing tests, asking me what I remember, and sticking me in weird machines. Finally I was left alone for the night and I got some much needed sleep. My head was pounding and Meghan always told me that the best thing for headaches is water and sleep.

------The next day-------

Suga's POV

The whole team slept in the mini bus because they kicked us out of the waiting room for the night and we couldn't see Noya or Amelia yet. The nurse told us that they both have varying degrees of head trauma. He said that Noya had a minor concussion and would be completely fine but Amelia's brain started to swell because of hitting the water the way that she did. We were also told that with the kind of trauma Amelia endured, she may act different or not remember certain things. As soon as the waiting room opened, we all marched back in and waited until we could see the two. They let us see Noya first, who was pretty much fine with the exception of a headache and not being able to see perfectly clear. We were allowed to see Amelia next and she looked so bad. There were so many tubes and wires coming off of her, I almost started to cry. She looked at each one of us, confused, like she didn't know who we were.

"Karasuno volleyball.. Which one of you is Daichi?" She asked. Daichi raised his hand and she smiled. "And Suga?"

"Hi," I croaked. My throat was sore from crying all night. "Do you know everyone's names?"

"I know everyone's names, just not their faces. You all look familiar though." She said, looking around. Everyone in the room introduced themselves and she was able to tell us each a little about ourselves. We were able to hang out for a little while and joke around but she was still light and sound sensitive. The nurse told us she needed to rest and asked that we all go to the waiting room again.

"I'm beginning to hate waiting rooms." Kiyoko said. She had been quiet throughout the whole ordeal and it looked like there was something on her mind. We sat next to each other with Daichi on my other side.

"What's on your mind?" Daichi asked.

"Why are you always reading my mind?" I asked, trying to lighten the mood. It didn't work.

"I don't know." Kiyoko said, her brows furrowing. "Is it just me, or did you notice that Amelia didn't mention Nishinoya once while we were in there? She ran through the whole team roster, including Coach Ukai and I, in number order, but skipped number four. What if she doesn't remember Nishinoya at all?" We sat and thought about it, realizing that Kiyoko was completely right. Asahi walked up to us, clearly concerned and sat next to Kiyoko.

"Did you notice that Amelia didn't mention Noya at all?" The three of us looked at him and he realized that we were talking about the exact same thing. I stood up and went to the desk.

"I need to see Amelia Henry, please, it's really important." The nurse didn't look happy, but she led me to her room. The feeling of dread sank into my stomach when I saw Noya in her room, propped next to her bed in a wheel chair. Before I could say anything, Amelia stares at Noya, confused, and said:

"Who are you?"
