Nozomi Uchiha POV:

Quietness, that's all I can hear, is silence. I was sitting in the hospital chair with sweat trickling down my face and shoulders. A voice interrupted the silence.

"Miss. Uchiha, you can come see Boruto Uzumaki now." One of the nurses told me, as she looked nervous to talk to me.

"Thank you." I thanked the nurse, as I started to head for Boruto hospital room.

Shikadai POV:

We were about to got follow Nozomi but the nurse stood in our way. That's when I got confused.

"Sorey, but she is the only one who can visit him. That was Mr. Uzumaki's wishes." She told us, as I nodded and smiled to myself.

Nozomi Uchiha POV:

I had finally reached Boruto hospital room. I was right in front of it. But for some reason I couldn't let myself open the door. I felt guilty, I felt guilty that I wasn't there when Boruto was in danger. I decided that I shouldn't be thinking of these thoughts right now. Boruto needs me. I took a deep breath and opened the door. Once I did, I saw Boruto sitting in the hospital bed, looking at the window with a thoughtful look on his face. He looks so peaceful even if he has bandages all over his body and some on his face. I decided to break the silence.

"Boruto" I called out to him, as Boruto turned to me and looked at me with a sweet gentle smile.

"Hey Nozomi." Boruto greeted me, as he had a little soreness in his throat.

"Hey Boruto." I said, as I gave him a sympathetic smile.

"Can I give you a hug?" Boruto asked me, as he was ready to take in my warm embrace.

"Of course" I told him, as I walked in Boruto direction.

Once I reached Boruto, I hugged him in his warm embrace. I started tearing up. Once a few tears left my eyes, I started to fully cry on Boruto. He heard my cry's and hugged me tighter.

Boruto knew that seeing him in this situation will make me feel sad and guilty. So that's why he's comforting me now than later.

"It's okay, I'll be okay." Boruto reassured me, as he kissed my forehead.

"I know, but I can't help but feel guilty for it." I told Boruto, as I hugged him tighter as well.

"I know you would feel this way, but you got to understand that it was my decision to take this mission and it was my choice to do this mission on my own. So don't blame yourself for my choices and decisions, okay." Boruto told me, as I nodded in his embrace and stopped hugging him as tightly as before.

"Okay" I told him, as we both stayed in each other's embraces in a peaceful silence.

"I love you Nozomi. Thank you for being here with me." Boruto told me, as he looked into my golden irises.

"I love you too, Boruto. And your welcome." I told Boruto, as I looked into his blue irises.

We both leaned into each other and kissed one another's lips. We both groaned in a satisfying way.

Boruto, please, never stop smiling, no matter what. Even if I'm not the one to make you smile.
