I was awoken to a loud beeping sound, coming from my alarm clock, I slammed my hand against it and sat up. It had been a month since the incident, I was feeling much better I had been caring about myself more and putting myself first for once. I rubbed my eyes and yawned, seeing Salem still asleep at my feet. I slowly got out of bed trying not to wake my sleeping baby.

I grabbed my phone and headed into the kitchen, making myself some coffee. While I waited for my coffee, I checked my phone and seen I had a few messages from instagram. I smiled and opened them, seeing it was from some of the new friends I made.

'Good morning Jackson,'

It was from Liam, a new friend I had made after friending a bunch of people. I replied back.

'Good morning, Liam,'

Once my coffee was done, I poured it into a coffee cup and added some sugar and creamer, mixing it all together. I set it down to cool, going back into my room and seeing Salem awake and meowing for his breakfast. I pet his head and went back to the kitchen, grabbing some wet food and going over to his bowl. I open the can and put the food in the bowl, watching Salem run over and eat happily. I pet him a little, he was an affection eater. I stayed with him until he was finished, by the time I got back to the counter I grabbed the coffee which was warm now.

I started to drink and checked my phone again.

'How'd you sleep?'

'I slept really good, how about you?'

'That's great, off to class yet?'

'Not yet, I'm having my morning coffee so I'm not too grumpy this morning.'

I chuckled slightly at my own message. I finished the coffee and washed it out in the sink, drying it and putting it back. I headed into the room and opened the closet skimming through my wardrobe on what to wear. I decided on what I always wear, which was a tech wear type style. I got dressed and grabbed my bag, going out into the kitchen where Salem was sitting by the door. I leaned down and pet his head.

"I'll see you when I get home." I smiled while Salem purred in response. I grabbed my keys and headed out, heading down the stairs and to my car. I got in and looked at my phone before I drove off.

'Haha, I feel that, well have a good day!'

I smiled at the message before putting it down and starting to drive off to college. I arrived rather early and parked my car, getting out and locking it. I headed in and went to my morning classes, I walked in and looked around. Barley anyone was there, I walked up the stairs and sat down at the table, I pulled out my phone and laid my head down, putting my earbuds in and listening to music.

I began to ponder how Tyler and Lucas was doing, I wondered if the hex did anything. I did find it ironic how it stormed for a few days after I did the hex. My ponder was interrupted by a tap on my shoulder, I took out one of my earbud and sat up, turning my attention to a guy.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Oh uhm, sorry I didn't mean to interrupt, I was just wondering if I could sit next to you." He seemed timid and shy, it was cute.

"Be my guest." I motioned towards the seat next to me. He smiled at me and sat down next to me. I looked at my phone again, humming quietly as I kept one earbud out just in case the guy next to me wanted to talk at all.

It was quiet for a little before he spoke once again. "So uhm.. what year are you in?" He asked, I smiled.

"First year, you?"

"Me as well! I just moved here." He seemed to enjoy the conversation. So I decided to keep it up, we talked for a while, laughing a bit in the process before the professor came in. We quieted down along with the rest of the class. The professor called role and began to teach.
