Play fighting

There's something about Liam that I learned when I started dating him that still shocked me till this day. How goofy he really is. This man, whenever he's in a good mood right as the day starts, will come up with the weirdest and funniest conversations.

And I would know that with all the times I've spat my coffee while I was laughing at 6 in the morning. Surely a good way to start a morning.

Liams favourite way to make me laugh has to be play fighting.

As weird as it sounds, it's honestly a mood booster for the both of us whenever it starts. And let's just say that he is very creative with his insults, yes, I've lost many 'fights' from laughing at him.

The thing about the 'fights' that makes liam like it so much, is how neither of us take anything we say to heart. From calling each other farm animals to different kind of adjectives that could one another physically, we could never take anything seriously.

And honestly, real arguments have become play fights a few times, and it always ended up in us two making up.

It's that good,

"Your the bitch liam, honestly" I spit back at him as I walk into the kitchen.

"Oh really?" He asks with a scoff, far behind me, "do you want me to buy you a mirror, darlin?"

He shouts from the living room making me giggle as I grab a cup from the cabinet above me.

"Sure! I can pass it down to you so you get a good look at yourself" I scream back at him and fill the cup with water.

"Woooowww" he screams dramatically, voice echoing through the small apartment.

I chuckle while taking a small sip and turn to walk back to the living room. I step out of the kitchen as I hear liam again.

"Shouldve heard Tony's warnings before starting to date you" he starts, "complete and utter psycho... maniac... bitch"

I laugh a little as I reach the door and liam turns slightly to look at me with a smile. I take a dramatic deep breath and walk back to the couch, regaining me energy to continue.

"He said that?" I ask, putting my glass down.

"He sure did"

"Interesting" I comment, sitting beside him, "because he said something about you too"

"Oh really?"

"Yep" I say with a smile as he looks intensely at me, getting ready for the insult, "he said your nothing but good looks. Inside your more disappointed than an unsalted pretzel"

He laughs a bit and looks away.

"Fuck, I hate you" he whispers under his breath, trying to hold in his laughter.

I bite in my smoke to try and not lose the fight and look away, swallowing the chuckles to the best of my ability.

Liam looks back at me getting ready to throw another one at me and he stops when he sees me with a serious expression, staring at the wall in front  of me. He frowns slightly in confusion and his little heart sinks a little in worry.

He pokes my arm in worry.

"Babe" he calls and I look at him seriously, "I was kidding. I didn't mean that"

My serious expression falls and I stare at him with a worried look as a panicked expression fills his features.

"I know, baby. I wasn't upset" I say with a small smile, bringing my hands to his cheeks.

My thumbs rub his cheeks a little and his panicked looks fall back to normal slowly.

"You were so serious, I thought you were mad he explains and I pout at his words.

I lay a kiss on his lips and stare up at him. Tilting my head a bit to the side to take a good look at him.

"I wasn't. I was just a little too much in character" I explain and a chuckle escaped his lips.

With slight embarrassment, he leans his head down and hides his face in my shoulder. I laugh a bit at him as he snuggled in.

There's a few seconds of silence. Liam continues to snuggle himself into the warmth of my body while also trying to not want to show how embarrassed he feels. But that's only until he decides to talk again.

"Does this mean I lost the fight?" He questions, making me smile.

"I think it does" I giggle and he smokes against my neck.

He has an idea.

"Not fair" he says with a fake disappointed tone, "you manipulated me into thinking that you were actually upset. This was all part of your plan"

I let out a laugh and he lifts his head from my shoulder to look at me.

"Are you trying to tell me something, mr Gallagher?" I ask playfully, hand resting over my hip.

He smiled widely and shakes his head a little.
