A few months past and I realised that my mum wasn't happy because she had no one to talk to. She was all alone. It hit me like a pang of guilt. MY MUM WAS ALL ALONE BECAUSE SHE HAS BEEN DIVORCED FOR 5 YEARS. That was the final straw. I went on the latest dating website to look up the type of men that she liked. I know how picky that sounds but she has to have to perfect one. BUZZ the doorbell went. Not realising that I was in my comfy pjs I answered it. To my suprise a fire fighter answered it.
I said"Can I help you with anything sir? Do you need to check my smoke alarm?"
"Oh Zoe you're so funny!" He says stepping into my flat(when I say MY flat I actually mean my mums flat)."So where's your mum?"
"Um... she's not home yet" I answer nervously" she'll be back in about 10 minutes she's running a little bit late.""Do I need to leave her a message from you or something..."
"No it's okay I'll just be going" he says with a sharp tongue."Tell her that Paul stopped by, she will know what I mean." With that the fire fighter (Paul) was gone out the door. When mum gets home she has some huge explaining to do! Like how the hell a man named Paul knows my name, where we live, who my mum is and why he was holding a bunch of flowers. My phone beeps it's from mum and reads : going out for the evening honey order a takeaway if you're hungry. I immediately text her back with: Oooh sounds exciting have fun oh BTW Paul stopped by with some flowers and says hey. As soon as my fingers release the send button another message pops up on the screen it is from an unknown number: don't worry we'll all be one happy family soon You'll see...
