A new leaf

8.The camp fire

"Where are we going?"Camilla moaned.

"It's a surprise. Close your eyes!" I could see Safanit and Chiara in the distance setting up our sister bombfire. Did you know that part of the beach was our back garden. I lead Camilla over to where they were and made her sit down.

We sat on logs or branches which Paul had carved for the other girls when they were little. I must admit they are very comfortable with the cushions which were sewed onto them.

We were all wearing our pjs. I was wearing my checked red and white bottoms with a white vest and red lace, Chiara was wearing her cosy pug pjs with her pug slippers( which I sometimes borrow), Safanit was wearing her onsie with pink and red love hearts on them and Camilla was wearing one of Dad's(Paul's) hoodies. One thing that I didn't tell you earlier was that everywhere Safanit goes she brings a book. She lives in books. Her room is like a library. This particular evening she is carrying Clockwork Princess which I believe makes that the fifth time she had read it this summer(so far).

"So I have called us all together so that we could have a sister bomfire. We need to spend more time together. There is only 2 weeks left of the summer holidays then me and Safanit will be entering year 11! So we better make use of these 14 days!" I said. To this we all raised our smores that I made because we used to do them when we went to america with Dad.

We talked and laughed and Safanit read us some of her book and I nearly wet myself from laughing so much. She put on different tones for different characters in the book. We told secrets like:

"I had my first boyfriends when I was in year 2"Me

" I haven't had my first kiss yet"Chiara

"OMG really we need to find you a boyfriend first thing when we go back to school. Once I figure out where I go to" At this everybody laughed at me.

We must of fallen asleep after that because the next thing I remember is the sun shining in my eyes and Safanit snoring in my ear!

I get up and dust the sand from my bottoms and start to take a stroll on the beach. I am just admiring the deep blue sea and it's beautiful colours and shades when........
