Chapter 5: Company

We just sat there, then the silence breaks. "well maybe you should ask him" She said. "I already tryed that but everytime I do he just runs off" "oh " Avriel said disapointed. My mom came walking up the steps. "honey your friends mother is here." "ok mom she will be down in a sec." I just look at her as if i didnt want her to leave "well I have to go kate see yah on monday." "see yah" we hug then she runs down stairs and into her mothers car. I really didnt want her to leave but if she could stay I know she would.  I groan and lay on my bed again and plug my music into my ears. About a hour later my mom comes up the stairs again. I see here apperince and take out my buds. "hi mom what is it" "can you get dressed and cleaned up we are having guest over. Uh guest, Im not really in the mood but I have too. "fine" I groan and get up." "thanks hum see you in a few." as she walks down stairs prepareing dinner. Im not in much of a mood to get dolled up, so i put on a pair of baggy sweat pants and a graphic tee-shirt. I walk down stairs and sit on the couch. Im just trying think of who Is coming but cant figure it out. So I decide to ask my mom."hey mom" "yes sweety" she said calmly back "who is coming over" I said wondering. "oh just this lady I met at work, she is new and I wanted to invite her over. Her name is Maura. " "oh ok" I said back with out giving it a thought. "when are they going to be here" "oh in about a half a hour or so." "ok well im going to go up to my room and just tell me when they are here ok" "uh ok honey" I stummble up stairs almost falling down them. I regain my balance and approch my door. "uhh im not in the mood for company today" then I plop down on my bed. "could this day get any worse" I say to my self but its now what I expected.
