Twenty-five minutes past "Kate! Come down stairs they are gonna be here in 5 mins" She yelled up stairs. "uhhhh fine im coming" I yell back. I slowly walk down the stairs into the kitchen. "ok kate just sit down and wait ok. "ok" I said back as if i didnt care. I just sit and wait as my mom put the food on the table.*ding-dong, The doorbell rings. I put my head on the table. My mother goes and gets the door and greet them. "hello" They say to us. "hi welcome to our home" my mother says back. "thank you very much we are so glad you invited us to ur home." "no problem plz come sit down." they came in and sat on the couch. "we have a son he is out side he will be in soon." I lifted my head up. My parents we doing a little chit-chatter with out guest. I was sneeking into the food when they wernt looking becuse im so hungry. Lunch at school sucks. My mother comes over and tells me to come and greet our guest. I do what she says. "hello my name is kate" I say as best as i can with a fake smile. "hello kate im Maura and this is bobby. I give a wave to him. My mom was exsplaining to me that they were new so be nice and on your best behaviour. I tell her ok and ill try my best. Then they went back to there conversation and I went back to my secret feast. I started texting avriel adn telling her i have company over. I hear foot steps outside of our door. I go silent. A boy walks into my house. I cant beleive it. What is he doing here.
