The game learns. The game adapts. That fact has always been true, only this time Daniel Shepherd is dragged back into the world of Jumanji. Although it's been years since he was first sucked into the game... he was pretty sure he wasn't stuck out in space the last time. The game may have changed its name, but the dangers of adventure have remained the same.

THE GAME HAD ALWAYS DONE WHAT WAS NECESSARY TO SURVIVE. It never understood why it was so feared, for it only offered its call to those it believed to be worry: those who truly desired it. It only pursued those looking for an escape, and in return, the game offered everything they lacked. It taught them how to survive. Yet... they always left.

So the game was forced to grow crafty. It had to change to lure back those that had left it. No one really knows how the world of Jumanji had come into existence, but some theorized it to be a pocket dimension untouched by time parallel to our own. What those who remember Jumanji do understand, is that the world is far more than a game. It started off as a board game, but adapted for an age of technology, transferring the game onto a screen. Now, it adapts once more, modifying the theme of the world to a much broader horizon: space, the final frontier.
