Candor or Dauntless: Love story

Chapter 3

Tris's POV

I wake up to a big muscular arm around me. "To" I don't even finish my sentence when all of the memories of yesterday come flooding back in. By now Uriah is awake and I start to cry again.

Uriah's POV

I wake up and Tris is sitting up in bed staring off into space. I wonder why, my thoughts are disturbed by Tris crying. "Tris why are you crying." "Fourrrrrrr. I hate him but I am so sad and to thought Marlene was my friend and your girlfriend."

I pull Tris's head up and kiss her. She kisses back. "Tris will you be my girlfriend." "Yes, yes Uri." "Great want to get some food and later we can have a Candor or Dauntless party." "Sure but Uri you have to TRY and not kill Four though." I laugh a little. "Ok ok I will try but no promises." She laughs at me. "Now let's get some food."

Tris's POV

We are walking out the door when Uriah smiles this big goofy smile. With his bright white teeth on his bronze skin he looks really cute.

"Why are you smiling like that." "Maybe because of this." He picks me up and throws me over his shoulder and he runs towards the cafeteria. I scream "URIAHHHHH..PUT ME DOWN!" "Nope" he says while popping the p. I hit his back in protest. But I laugh and can't keep a straight face.

By the time we get there all our friends are there. (They consist of Christena, Will, Lynn, Zeke, Shawna, even Tobis, Marlene and Peter were there.) I guess the gang didn't find out what happened yet. Cause they are letting Tobis and Marlene sit there.

Uri puts me down and I sit down next to him at the table. "Hey" says Christena. She gives me the you need to explain later look. "Hi" "Are you ok. Is something wrong." Before I can answer Tobis gets out of his seat and comes up next to me.

"Tris I am soooooo sorry please take me back. It was a mistake hurting you and I am so sorry. Please take me back." I get up and just like when Al apologized I walk up to him and say.

"NO I WILL NOT TAKE YOU BACK. YOU HURT ME FOOOOUUUUUR!" I spit his nickname out like it is venom in my mouth. By now everyone has there attention on us. The tears start to come and I run out that way none of the dauntless see me cry.

When I hear foot steps I run faster trying to get away. I eventually lose who ever it was and run to the chasm. (I am a really bad speller just a FYI in case I spell something wrong) I sit where Tobis and I first kissed. I am there for awhile just crying.

Uriah's POV

I put Tris down next to me and she sits. Christena says hey. Tris says hi. "Are you ok? Is something wrong." Before Tris has a chance to answer Four all of a sudden gets up and stands next to Tris and says "Tris I am soooooo sorry please take me back. It was a mistake hurting you and I am so sorry. Please take me back."

She get up and stands next to Four. "NO I WILL NOT TAKE YOU BACK. YOU HURT ME FOOOOUUUUUR." Tris runs out of the cafeteria. "What the hell Four!" "I was just trying to say sorry." Christena jumps in. "What happened. Four did you hurt Tris? I swear to god if you did you are dead and I mean dead meat." Then Four runs after Tris like the coward he is

In the meantime I explain what had happened with Tris and Four from what Tris told me. Marlene steaks off while I was telling everybody what happened.

Tris's POV

"Tris?" "WHAT WHAT DO YOU WANT FOUR!" "I just wanted to say I am sorr-" I cut him off "Four I loved you and the way you repay me is by cheating on me with my old best friend well that is very nice." I say sarcastically. "Tri-" I cut him off again "NO DON'T YOU TRIS ME I AM DONE WITH YOU FOUR. I AM WITH SOMEONE ELSE AND HE IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN YOU. OK SO JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!"

I walk away. Did I do the right thing I don't know but I guess I will find out. I head to Uriah's by now it is about 11 in the afternoon I was at the chasm for awhile just crying.

When I walk in Uriah walks up to me immediately and asks if I am ok. "Yeah I am fine. Just need some time to think." "Ok you scared me I thought I was going to lose you." "You will not lose me."

That is when Kali comes up to me. "I almost forgot about you Kali." She barks so I go and get her some dried jerky. "Hey Tris do you want to have the Candor or Dauntless party." "Sure. let me call Chris and I will let everybody know about it but if we are going to invite Four and Marlene then you can tell then. Ok." "Ok" I call Chris (C=Christena and T=Tris)

C: Hey. Uri told us what happened between you and Four.

T: Oh ok that makes my life easier then.

C: He is an a**hole.

T: I totally agree with you. Hey the reason I call was because we are having a Candor or Dauntless party and your invited.

C: Yes just a reason to take you shopping. I know I know what your going to say No a big fat no but pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase let me take you shopping.

T: Fine

C: Ek yes ok I will meet you at my house at 2 k

T: K. Gotta run bye.

C: Byeeeeeeeee

Beep. Well that was an interesting conversation. I call all my other friends and tell then about the party and then I yell to Uriah. "I just called all our friends except Four and Marlene I even invited Peter. But I am leaving to go get ready for Candor or Dauntless k."

"K. I will tell Four and Marlene about the party. See you soon. Bye Tris." With that I walk to Christena house and knock on the door.
